I'm an American. I find a raw slice of American cheese revolting, even on a sandwich. Always have since I was a kid.

It's actually frightening how much is spent on right wing propaganda. I know there are whole businesses dedicated to posting on social media pretending to be genuine users. The last election in Illinois they mailed out fake newspapers with all kinds of nonsense in them. They even have country music tours that go to small towns with political messaging.

I find that American cheese takes away flavor from the burger. It's very very bland. To me, it's just not worth the extra calories for the taste.

It is even it's covered in American cheese which adds no flavor and increases calories by a lot and it's on a bun made of American wheat, which increases calories by a lot and it's covered in sugary ketchup and it comes with fried potatoes and a large soda made out of corn syrup.

Turns a normal amount of calories into 2k calories when you add in all the crap.

The big thing of salad mix is always less than $5

Frozen and canned fruits and vegetables are always cheap and plentiful. Fresh is always going to be more expensive because of the way growing seasons work.

In the future we will need more localized greenhouse farming because of water issues in the Southwest where most vegetables are grown (for u.s. consumption)

The thing I'm most excited for is the removal of FUD from our daily lives. Everything on our would is designed around the preconceived notions of a small group of people from the past.

We also had the owner installed intercom system! I pulled it out since it didn't work anymore either. On top of that we have Central-Vac! It still works, and my toddler has yet to figure out she could put stuff in there.

Hopefully they perk up a bit. Something has been getting at the leaves. I saw ants on them when I was moving them around. I read that it's possible they are eating aphid juice and leaving the holes.

Last year we had q's in the other bed and they tasted horrible, they were bitter. We've had a half dozen or so this year and they've been fine. Possible we got bad starters last year.
