Brain is officially back in business.

Finished a 2nd assignment that I started at 5am Sunday on LLN needs of students.

Ended up being perfect timing since I based it on the induction training I gave to a new employee 2 weeks ago who had revealed to me in their interview that they are completely illiterate.

The guy is amazing. Really mechanically gifted, super upbeat, really good memory. Everyone who meets him instantly likes him.

In his life he has been a manager from just how gifted he is mechanically and done well enough to buy his own home.

Cliched but I've definitely learnt a lot from this guy.

The content gives off a very different vibe in terms of authorship

Oddly enough it appears to have been written and directed by a woman.

Who the hell writes a script like this?

And how does it become "acclaimed"🤷‍♀️

He kept asking why I was laughing while I was reading about the plot.

I've told him he just needs to watch it. He loves weird horror and foreign horror, so this is a no brainer for him

Just read the plot for a French horror film on Binge and yeah words fail me.

I stupidly made someone a black scarf last year.

So annoying but thankfully hid all the mistakes I made 😂

TBH most crochet books are a bit shit.

Then there's confusion with books that have US terminology VS British terminology.

Supplies like Clover brand stitch markers and some 8 ply yarn would be good gifts to help their learning.

Stick to single colour yarn but not something dark or they won't be able to follow their stitches. And not fluffy yarn. Simple 8 ply acrylic yarn would be perfect.

I feel that. I get that and vitamin b shots.

Face masks are definitely where it's at. A good 15 minutes and you're touching your smooth face all day

SELF-CARE SUNDAY

What have we all got planned for our self-care Sunday routine?

I've been to sauna for the weekly sweat sesh. Currently sitting with my Sky & Sand clay mask on. And next up is my Maui hair mask.

Then time for a luxurious everything shower featuring my apricot body scrub.

Will do some reading today and listening to some blues music on PBS later.

Holy fuck that's a lot to unravel.
