Just moved over to the 7a from the 4a and highly recommend it.

Getting the support is nice, and a good jump in build quality

Yeah I was a mess of tears once I got in the car form something that rubbed me the wrong way at work today

Locked in $165 fuel this morning. Price must have gone up shortly after.

Ended up saving $17 on a tank tonight 😳

And we score at least a day of innuendos of hot nuts and the lines.

I live for moments like these

Some days the HR office has a revolving door and it's a non-stop day of people stepping in. No time for a break. Barely time for hydration and bathroom.

Tomorrow I'm cheering up my manager and I by getting us out of the office to buy some more spicy nuts in our lunch break.

We'll get to make jokes about spicy nuts, get out of the office, and get some tasty snacks.

I see this as a win.

The store was Seedtime and Harvest in Boronia if you find yourself out that way.

Went to the local bulk foods scoop and weigh store to get some work snacks and a treat for Mr Smeg. Managed to only spend $15.

I've come home with chilli lime cashews, toasted bbq corn, and Turkish apricots for me. And the treat for Mr Smeg ended up being some dark chocolate coated almonds.

The guy who runs the store is so lovely. Asks your name and introduces himself. Very old-school and refreshing.

Basque is my kind of self care

Self care Sunday started with brunch at Harrow and Harvest in Lilydale. Amazing food and vibe, and a damn fine magic. The wagon wheels were 🤤

Then Eastland to buy new soft cotton doona cover, fitted sheet and pillow cases from Adairs, and king doona and memory foam pillows from Harris Scarfe.

All set for the new king size bed to arrive next weekend. Gonna sleep so good.

Only thing left for today is face mask and sauna.

It's an Indian style vegie burger called the Spuddy Buddy. So damn good.

Crispy potato patty, mint relish, pickled daikon, tomato and onion salsa, torn lettuce, pickled onion and tamarind mayo.

Oh don't get me wrong, I'm still responsible for organising my own dinner. But we're lazy and we're buying burgers

Was just replaying it for my nap and this snippet woke me up.

Skipping bootcamp in favour of chilling in my warm bed a while longer before I have to get ready for online TAFE at 9.

Part of me wants a cheeky weekend breakfast but I think I need to have my healthy weekday option instead.

Too much comfort eating behaviour lately that needs to be unwound.

My boss jokes that I like to rescue all the lost puppies at work.

The personal stories where people open up to me at work are amazing. (And the level of trust they put in me when they share it)

Had a man in his 60s talking about how he's working on his mental health for the first time in his life after his divorce and death of a parent.

It's still really raw for him and he still trusted me with his story. I love that I can work in this blue collar environment and have interactions like this.
