  • Behind the cheeseburger, do you see how it looks like a firearm discharge on top but the bottom looks like cigarette smoke?

That means it's producing some lift but also producing significant drag.

  • This is incorrect by well over a century. The error is likely a conflation of information transmission with mass in context of relativity.

Thomas Young's 1801 double slit experiment demonstrated the wave particle duality of light. The modern scientific explanations aren't found in relativity, instead quantum mechanics.

The title is just crap. Don't try to defend it, especially not like this.

  • Usually to get these tickets you got to be near a computer when they release

Many controlled access routes don't use a lottery, instead are first come, first serve. I've hovered over the submit button many times.

But, that's not how it works in Yosemite. It's a true lottery. There's a window of time to submit. Then, selections are random.

  • Experienced hiker and noob climber here. I did the exact same thing at Angel's Landing. The route would've been easy even without the aid. It's all the inexperienced people fucking around that made it very dangerous.

I left Zion and went to Moab.

  • No. I mean boring doesn't achieve anything meaningful for the governed because conditions are intolerable. Even blood is better than boring because we suffer.

Boring would be letting you put words in my mouth twice. I won't do that. I'll just block on the second post demonstrating bad faith of any sort.

  • Can you explain that? We are talking speeches, not his politics, right?

    Sure.

Because it's one of the last ones he may be remembered

That'd serve his ego, not the political agenda.

he is in a position to do a historical thing, an endorsment for a younger candidate

He already did that. He even broke tradition to step aside for her.

Isn't it a reason to try better?

Why are you assuming that what he delivered doesn't serve the political agenda? It's far more likely that he's done exactly what he intended and you don't understand it, yet.

I already explained. But, you're not listening. This pesky assumption of yours is probably in the way.

Can you explain that? We are talking speeches, not his politics, right?

Governance is functioning as it intends and as it always has. It's normal. However, humans deserve much, much better, including in the speeches from their politicians.

  • same speech could've been more captivating if he had a great speechwriter to nurture it

It wouldn't matter because I think you had it above: delivery. I'd say give him a pass for COVID. But, he's always delivered boring speeches.

What I don't understand is why, if you watch such speeches regularly, you're now surprised that Biden delivered exactly as he always has, particularly now when he can provide a point of contrast to KH hype marketing.

I think you're setting an unreasonable expectation if judged relative governance & political campaigns. If judged relative humanity then I think you've set the expectation too low.

  • After I got good at one thing I got good at another. My work situation got much better as soon as I brought those two things together. It took three to have control over which projects I worked on.

But, right now, none of that matters. You can't invest into five or six years from now while you're worried about tomorrow.

I don't have a lead and I'm not sure how I can help. But, if you've an idea of how I can assist, now or in the future, HMU.

  • A clip feeds a magazine. A magazine feeds the firearm.

I'm trying to reinforce my knowledge by sharing. But, I'm obviously making too many mistakes to do it well. We're on the same team trying to serve the community whole.

    Thank you for correcting me.

    Fixed my post above.

  • You're obviously right about the firing pin. Also right about why I made the mistake.

As a fidget toy it's like dry fire practice without regard for safety discipline. But, it seems like a means to irresponsibly teach breakdown & reassembly.
