Shitty mobile gatcha games produce a lot of brain drain the gaming industry that's for sure.

That will not happen in America ever, because neither of the two parties are interested in real democracy beyond the bipartisan status quo.

On IOS there is not much point in using Firefox, because it's just an UI shell for Safari with crippled functionality at that. I hope EU law will make real Firefox a possibility.

Actually yes. I bought a brand new -discounted old stock- Iphone 4s for my mum near the end of the ios 8 cycle. The day before we installed ios 9 on it, it had okay performance and good battery life. Following the update to ios9 the performance went to complete shit. (the battery remained usable for 2 more years after, but it was not a good experience for her)

I wish this applied to Google xD (Their search & web browser used to be good. Their cloud/photo storage and email services are still amazing.)

Well, Apple intentionally slowed those devices down to make the users update, instead of using an insecure device, that would've provided a good experience otherwise.

And these days Apple is retiring devices arbitrarily for profits too. For example this year they are retiring the Iphone 8, which has better hardware, than the ipad 2018 that is still being supported...

Give them to the kids with a QR code guide sticker about installing Linux on them? I'm not a kid, but I would love if someone "threw" a couple of these in my general direction.

Knights and Merchants (combat strategy game, the later levels are combat only and it's very HARD)

Chrono Cross (probably the best jrpg of all time, but the combat system scared away many)

These are not really forgotten & qualify for being a cult classic, but merely they are old titles that the new kids have never touched:

Baldur's Gate 1-2

Morrowind (so much better than Skyrim, it's not even close)

Pharaoh & Caesar 3 (the city builders, there is a recently released HD remake for Pharaoh)

Oddworld: Abe's Odessey (Much better art style & direction than in the still great remake called New and Tasty)

Jazz Jackrabbit 1 (Sonic feels soulless compared to this)

Settlers 3

Chrono Trigger (It's not really a cult classic, because eventually all jrpg fans play this, right, RIGHT?)
