I think people that see these numbers as low does not realize that tons of people don't work in front of a screen full-time, and the average would include children and the elderly

I usually just try to hunt down bootleg feeds. I can usually find one, or a Patreon feed that someone has shared.

They can use the character, as long as they don't advertise in a way that infringes on Disney's trademark (can't use the mouse silhouette etc.) and they can only use the character as he appeared in the 1928 short, he can't have gloves or red shorts like the Mickey we know now does.

It's a tightrope, but it's possible to use the character legally. I'm sure Disney's lawyers are looking over this stuff with a magnifying glass though.

That's a shame, was planning on watching this year. I get it's not everyones cup of tea, but I'm spending NYE with my mom who's older and enjoys this sort of thing. Kind of a fun end-of-the-year variety show. I guess we'll have to find something else, and I'd rather not watch something American.

Since you guys are so brain-broken by the status quo of American politics, let me break down the goal of these people.

1. Threaten to not vote for party because they are doing bad thing
2. Party sees significant numbers of people threatening not to vote for them.
3. Party changes it's policies.
4. People vote for party.

It's like you're completely incapable not thinking in black-and-white, and don't understand it's actually possible to leverage politicians. No one wants Trump, and if he wins no one is to blame but the Democrats.

Everyone saying "this is a vote for democracy" apparently doesn't see the irony in demanding everyone vote for a single candidate no matter what or democracy fails. Like isn't the whole point of democracy having the ability to pressure politicians to make concessions to your cause?
