I really really need swipe to change clock faces back. It’s made the entire experience that much worse.

I forget if Apollo’s was the system behaviour (I.e. skip all the intermediate pages and go the first page if you have a bunch of pages showing, then scroll to top).

We currently have it so it goes back to the previous page, one by one.

This is ALMOST ready (famous last words, once again) - I’ve been using it myself for the past few weeks, and literally just merged it into the main repo 🥲 Feel free to chime in on possible customization options 😎

Almost made it into the last TestFlight build, but I had to rework the entire thing because of a nasty lil bug that made it unusable.

Technical Stuff: Programmatic dismissal and UI dismissal via SwiftUI environment have different behaviours…the former was what I built it with initially, but it totally wasn’t built for this use case 😕

Mlem! Yea, native experience is one of top reasons I use/contribute to Mlem (beta is full I think, so you’ll have to try the App Store version)🥲

I love Avelon’s in-line media viewer for sure. I have like 10+ lemmy apps, and all of us have strengths and areas that need work..it’s like 2009 all over again :) I did use Voyager (wefwef) and Memmy for a bit too :p

Also, what about Sync is better? Am curious cuz I’m contributing to an open source Lemmy app on iOS right now 😏🙈

For me the shock was less so “kids want big phones”, and more like people think it’s natural for phones to be a certain size nowadays (just like house ceilings are usually 8-9’ high)

My kid cousin randomly came up to me and said “why is your phone so tinyyy”…that’s when I finally understood small phones like my 13 mini really aren’t a thing for most 🥲
