Linux user here, this would have been super helpful to me in the past. I don't think it's that the world is full of master Linux users that don't post, it's that new people need more help and have more questions.
I love that this is basically a "back in my day" but disguised as a problem that zoomers will have. Old man shouts at cloud but instead one day zoomers will yell at water in the sky!
I'm curious how many steam users actually browse while waiting for a game to launch. I know they have a lot of users but I can't imagine more than one or two percent actually do this.
This has got to be bait from that user. The third screen is like the keyboard screen. What the heck are they even talking about. 36 hours to still be in the first three screens.
I'm all for people's religious freedoms but this kind of BS is a huge problem. They act like we are requiring the LGBTQ flag in every classroom and respond by doing the exact thing they accuse others of doing.
Check out the article and feature video. It does appear to link to answers it pulled from. Bing and Bard do the same. Posters saying it's impossible are mistaken.
This type of Q&A interface is very popular and stealing traffic away from sites like Google and Stack Overflow. Stack Overflow can train it on their data and has a feature where it links to every answer it pulled from. I think that's a nice feature and like that I can troubleshoot further on my own, as AI can often hallucinate an answer or lose a piece of context I need.
No it was for a costume party. He tweeted it and his tweet is still up. The part of him wanting it removed is made up. I don't like the guy but this gets posted constantly online and is easily shown to be false.
He's doing the "just asking questions" thing but we know the answer to his question. It's not common and it's more common from the virus than from the vaccine. He's also responding to a tweet, which is cropped here, about Bronnie James having a heart attack implying that it's caused by the vaccine.
I'm likely done with Reddit but /r/Place was a really fun thing to do the years it showed up. OP seems to be discussing it only in relation to Lemmy. I think we should welcome that. It's a fun idea and would also drive activity to us.
A good goal to have. I'm super happy with the work Steam has done to make more games compatible. 5 years ago I'd say less than 5% of my library would have worked in Linux and now it's closer to 60-70%!
Also in the beginning he wishes he would wake up and his whole family would be gone. He wakes up and thinks his wish came true. He tells "Santa" later in that he wishes they would come back.
Preach. I love Linux. I run PopOS and have tried several distros. I ran Linux only from 2008-2013. It's gotten so much better than it used to. But there is still so much to do if we ever want to reach mass desktop adoption.
I love the dismissal of critics as a while because a movie you like scored low. It's a good creepy movie but it's no that good of a movie overall. It's very cheesy, the dialogue is poor, the story is minimal. It's got great creeps though.
Upper 30s here and have had no problems like that. If your diet isn't garbage you may want to consult your doctor or at least get a physical if you haven't already!
