I think people just are fed up with Twitter and are looking for the most twitter-like thing they can find. Mastodon is, frankly, nothing like Twitter. The vibes are too different.

Oh let me tell you about the D&D campaign I'm in. The first six months were nuts: We got hired to pick one of the emperor's 60-something kids to be appointed as the heir. By the time we left, there were four kids left alive.

Last session was a bit nuts. We got an angel fired from his job because he was bullying a snail, then had to resolve a custody battle between a coven of witches. We are level 4.

1. I already know pokemon. I'm making an active effort to not be into pokemon anymore.
2. As a kid i wasnt allowed to watch tv or play videogames, so I've been trying to catch up on the childhoods everyone else had.
3. Trying to get out of MTG, not interested in the Pokemon TCG or the One Piece TCG because their mechanics aren't interesting to me, and there is no amount of money you could pay me to deal with the average Yu-Gi-Oh player. The Digimon TCG seems cool, though.

My group's campaign started with us being called in to select the next heir, which involved investigating the sins of the imperial harem. When we got there, there were about 60 children and 12 viable heirs. Currently, there are 5 remaining children and 2 viable heirs.

I like playing evil dickasses. Thankfully all of Eberron is morally grey at best. House Jorasco, for example, happens to be "what if the U.S. Healthcare System, in addition to being extortionate and evil, was also part of the executive branch?"

To be fair, the god I picked would probably disapprove of me being extortionate. But it's not like there aren't priests living absurdly wealthy lives that Jesus sure wouldn't approve of. #joelosteen

Didnt have space to clarify details about my character. In Eberron, being a priest just means you went to seminary, so it's totally reasonable for him to claim to be a wizard priest. Since he has the Mark of Healing, I'm going to rp him as the embodiment of the American Healthcare system, charging money for healing. Figured Pact of the Archfey would be most useful in huckstering.

It does make sense for covens to count as one patron. Seems in the spirit of hags to behave like that.

Thats a good idea. Since they rule Droaam, that opens the door for political intrigue. They may be seeking more power on the global stage. I might be looking at politics in my future so I can make them something more than Fantasy Belgium.
