Fair enough, but you're talking about replacing streaming services with DVDs, and unless you're relegating yourself to SD content made over a decade ago and prior, you're going to have a rough time.
There are much better ways, and that involves the high seas.
Seems pretty spot on and it has been this way for years. Even in 2020 when I bought my first printer, Prusa was charging $1,000 for a printer that everyone else was selling for $300-$400. They only maintained through that due to good will from the community and the rest of the market outside of Creality being little cottage-type businesses that weren't selling high volume.
Even now in addition to the closed-source boards, they have a closed-source cloud-based smartphone app
Here's a 2 year old post on reddit bringing up the same concerns:
I thought I was on /InsanePeopleFacebook for a minute reading this.
You're telling me these are made from concentrated smoke and soot from house fires, yet not a single object around them is covered in smoke or soot, including paper and fabric?
So China is focusing on dominating manufacturing for EVs, solar panels, semiconductors, and commercial jets. I wonder how much fuel they've been dumping on the fire with regards to Boeing, Intel, the US anti-EV crowd, and the like. Seems very suddenly all of these areas are suffering greatly and getting a lot of negative publicity while China is motoring on ahead.
Anything with a lot of sharp angles should show it off pretty well. You could try making one of the geometric vases since they don't use much filament being that they're single walled.
I think the "Switch Pro" would be the OLED model as an upgrade of the original. This thing looks brand new even if it shares a lot of similarity to the original.
Then what is your basis for it only being between two people? You're defining it just like religion does because that's where you got the idea even if you don't realize it.
