  • If you do this be sure to either disconnect the coax going to the outside world if not in use or put a filter on the outside line so that you're not feeding out to all your neighbors.

  • You would add this to your Start Gcode macro in klipper or your slicers Start Gcode section (depending on which method you use) after the G28:

    BED_MESH_PROFILE LOAD=default

    https://www.klipper3d.org/Bed_Mesh.html?h=bed+mesh#bed-mesh-gcodes

M420 S1 and/or G29 may or may not be recognized on your printer so I'd try the above line.

You might also consider changing the mesh command from G28 to what's listed in the docs there for BED_MESH_CALIBRATE

    https://www.klipper3d.org/Bed_Mesh.html?h=bed+mesh#bed-mesh-gcodes

    https://www.klipper3d.org/Bed_Mesh.html?h=bed+mesh#adaptive-meshes

Gives example macro code, see comment chain from /u/strtshtr325: https://www.reddit.com/r/klippers/comments/1ay49x3/comment/krsi4b4/

Notes about what to add to your printer.cfg file: https://github.com/rootiest/zippy_guides/blob/main/guides/macros.md#adaptive-meshing-notes

Edit: crap I haven't had my coffee and just realized you aren't even using Klipper (I'm not sure where I got that idea from) so none of this will work 😅

I know that in klipper you need to load the mesh after performing it so you may look into OctoPrint's version of that and implement it.

  • Give me a break. There's a hundred mile wide gap between a perfect candidate and Trump/Biden/Harris/Clinton.

This was the argument thrown around leading up to the election because it's designed to shut down criticism and make people fall in line. It failed yet again, so you can stop trying to make it.

  • The other advice about checking the physical hardware is good.

You may ditch the bed springs in favor of some rubber/poly pucks. Springs can move and sag over time and change with heat and these pucks are cheap.

Are you loading the bed mesh in your start gcode after you perform the bed leveling procedure?

  • I don't think they want to if it means they'll have to actually live up to the party's stated ideals rather than Republican-lite ideals. That's why they back the Bidens, Clintons, and Harris' of the party instead of the AOCs or Sanders of the party.

  • I didn't need a birth certificate when buying a house. That seems odd.

I also needed one to renew my license. They made it really awesome by rejecting my original birth certificate from the hospital and told me I'd need to pay $70 to get a replacement from some government records office. This isn't even for a real ID or anything.

  • Our old kitty would do this to my MIL when she was over babysitting and WFH. It got to the point that she'd setup a second laptop next to her work laptop so he'd go to that one but it didn't work for long. They know what they're doing.

  • Biden only won because we were in the middle of the pandemic and the economy was in the shitter and even then it was by a razor thin margin. Obama was charismatic and had a lot of us believing change would happen in 2008 but it never really came. In 2012 he beat Romney who was also milquetoast but most of the enthusiasm for him was gone by that point.

  • We're facing very complex problems that don't have simple answers. However, the other side is providing simple to understand solutions. The problem is those simple solutions are horrendous, and aren't actually solutions. Example:

    • Americans are struggling with low wages. The other side says its because of foreigners and moves to arrest and deport them. Simple right? Except you and I both know the low wages has nothing to do with immigrants, and instead on corporate America and captured politicians keeping wages low while productivity continues to rise.

If the other side simply gives simple "common sense" solutions that a typical American understands (even if its wrong), then that will be appealing to them instead of a realistic complex solution which promises far fewer benefits. What are Democrats to do here that can counter the infinite depth of lies of the other side?

Where in your example is the Democratic solution to this same problem? It seems like you're just arguing that people are too dumb to understand that Democrats always do what's best for them while here (and in your follow up reply below) state that the problems we face are essentially too complicated to fix so we shouldn't hold it against Democrats for not having solutions.

  • Why is it that this continues to be the strategy election after election when it's been proven time and time again to be a failure?

When faced with a monster of an opponent, the DNC keeps deciding to pick the blandest, unlikeable, center-right, status-quo politicians possible to run against them. If COVID hadn't happened, there's no way Biden would have won in 2020, Clinton lost in 2016, and both Biden and Harris lost in 2024. Republicans, by virtue of being Republican, always pick a monster as their candidate and we can expect them to keep winning so long as the DNC sits on their ass letting them run the show just so long as they don't have to stand for anything and jeopardize their own comfy seats in office.

  • Yes time and time again they've proven that they're willing to put anything and everything ahead of helping the American people. They want to have their cake and eat it too and are willing to go as far as losing elections if it means they don't have to turn their backs on corporations or foreign governments engaging in genocide.

  • Exactly. They need time to figure out a strategy where they can appeal to their base while also proposing contradictory public policy that harms their base. Judging by their performance in the past three presidential elections, this strategy will never exist but it sure as hell hasn't caused them to do any sort of self reflection.

  • blame the people for the corrupt system designed by so called elites working as intended.

People have been doing that for months against those who said Biden (and then Harris) were poor candidates running terrible campaigns.

  • Not to criticize you personally for playing devils advocate but fuck this weak ass justification.

This guy is the richest person in the world and he didn't become that by being some disadvantaged individual who doesn't understand what he's doing at times. He knew full well what he was doing. He was grinning the whole fucking time and acts like he knows he's untouchable.

I agree that I don't think he wants to 'round up Jews and exterminate them,' but I do think he wanted to empower the nut jobs that do believe in that (not just Jews but every Republican enemy) while also drumming up controversy to get everyone talking about him like he's always done in the past. He thinks this is all a game with few stakes for himself.
