    I started pointing out how terminally online these people are and it always strikes a nerve with em. Usually pointing out their average post per hour amount

  • Very recent studies from 2019-2020 actually! Turns out prions are likely a key cause of Alzheimers. It's specifically two proteins in our bodies turning into Prions!

    The responsible proteins are the "Aß Prion" and the "Tau Prion"

  • I noticed that I find writing in dreams exceedingly hard. "reading" is easy because I never truly read it but rather so just so happen to know what a word says without analysing it.

    Once I have to write the word it becomes hell however as I can't seem to manage to make anything coherent with things morphing around constantly.

  • Because AI doesn't fucking understand what it creates. It follows patterns and it shows intensely much when it tries to generate text. All it sees are "Patterned squiggles" and not processing words.

  • No no I just straight up skipped the intended crosswalk and went down a long stretch of road where practically no one even lives, to the cross for a bus stop.

    The crosswalk is actually perfectly placed (I'm in Germany btw, we call em zebra stripes) and I'm just too idiotic and think only of switching sides once I'm way deep down the road.

  • Yeah lmao. Personally I only found out when I was told about it by a friend who happens to work on exactly these kind of things. I'm surprised this isn't covered more by the news.

    Did you know Elmo also at first refused to secure the servers (as in the physical boxes) meaning anyone could easily steal them and when the INTENSE danger of theft and data leaks was pointed out to him he threw a tantrum before putting a fucking 5 dollar padlock on the door that held the disconnected servers at the time?

    As in the kind of padlock that is notorious for being bog easy to pick and sometimes opens just by bashing it. THAT kind of fucking padlock.
