real Halo fans waited yeeeaaarrs for that show to come out. i mean i remember being a little kid in middle school and thinking "i can't wait for the halo movie/show to finally come out". Fast forward years later, and i have a house, 2 kids, I'm married and the Halo show is finally out and it's garbage. i hate what happened to that franchise

strongly relatable. i hope one day you'll get to the point that you can wear it and pull it off and still look femme and it'll be great. that's what I'm hoping for

No algorithmic suggestions and therefore, no curated daily taste playlists, no sorting your library by genre (at least not as granular and specific as Spotify unless you put in as much work as they do at tagging your music), finding new music manually takes at least 10x more effort and you're limited to the taste you already know you have. If you switch phones you're SOL unless you want to deal with the insanely slow transfer speeds of androids MTP or whatever apples slow ass transfer protocol is. Not to mention your library is limited by how much space you have. My 10,000+ song playlists on Spotify aren't gonna easily fit on anyone's device, and definitely not at the highest quality that Spotify can stream at. Your only hope of getting even a comparable experience is to be tech savvy and patient enough to set up a home streaming server, manually tag all your music, and find an audio app with an interface/features that you like that also supports streaming. Oh and then your home computer needs to be on all the time, and your Internet has to be great, and you must not care about your energy bill that much, and ... I'm just gonna stop. Locally stored music is just not anywhere near as good. It's lame and tedious and nearly pointless. At most, I'd say keep a couple albums you like with high quality FLACs but that's it. You're waisting your time not getting Spotify premium or Apple Plus or whatever the heck

Oh and this is coming from 20+ years of pirating media. Limewire used to be the best, but now it's firmly Spotify etc.

Reddit got worse and worse and worse and worse over the years. I was there since 2012 and I watched it steadily get filled with more and more toxic uninteresting idiots. I used to be able to have an actual discussion with other adults and now it feels like "summer Reddit" never ever ended. This place feels like old Reddit to me

Trans lady here, who thinks that's pretty pretty cool. That's too young to do things that will affect your body and your health in an extreme way for the rest of your life. I think if you make it through your teens being trans then you'll know for sure how you feel at 18. No need to run kids lives. I would bet you a million dollars that most detransitioned people transed as a teen.

If you're doing it for a friend make sure you ASK if they want Linux, don't force it on them man that's not cool. Most normies just want to use Windows for the compatibility and ease of use (call it handholding and restrictive all you want).

Also PS You are looking at the universal APK, which contains the binaries for all CPU structures. OBVIOUSLY the one that's meant for your phone will be smaller. Mine was like 170 mb

Dude it's basically nothing. Mp3s have been/could be considered small for like 10+ years. It's much larger than I think it should be but it's not like it's an unreasonable space hog. File sizes have been inflating steadily for years as internet speeds increase worldwide

If you're on Windows 10 or 11 just install it natively with WSA. You might have to look up a tutorial. I've yet to have a compatibility issue
