  • The discussion is in the comments. It's even a meme that no one reads the article before commenting.

  • Yeah ROG and Ally are also kind of odd too. The console side of gaming seems to have much stronger branding.

  • Having it on the filter makes a lot more sense. I didn't realize it from the picture since it was not a brown filter.

  • I dunno, lighting the cigarette and watch the words slowly burn away might have the opposite effect on me personally.

  • I quit smoking almost a decade ago. But I feel like if I was still smoking this would only make me want to smoke more. Watching the warnings slowly burn away would be relaxing.

  • Yeah, I meant why their gaming line is called Legion. Is there some gaming related meaning to it. Just seems like a strange choice.

  • Is there a story behind the name Legion? Seems like a strange choice for gaming hardware.

  • It makes sense not to salt the tomato directly in this context because adding salt will draw out the water and make your sandwich more soggy. You could probably do it right before eating, but I think the saltiness of the bacon would be fine.

  • I'm guessing that we will be only getting this every three years when it's CBS's turn to broadcast.

  • Yeah. I dislike regular Hawaiian pizzas but a Hawaiian pizza with jalapenos is probably my favorite pizza. It's amazing how much of a difference one topping can make.

  • I'm a huge fan of the BLAT (avocado). But I'd be down with a BELT or maybe even a BLEAT.

  • That's what the bacon is for.

  • IMO, Mayo is a must on a standard BLT. A fresh ripe tomato pairs amazingly with mayo and the fat layer keeps it's juices from soaking into the bread.

  • Relay currently isn't charging anything so either the devs are footing the API costs or Reddit is giving them an extension. It just seems unlikely that they are just paying Reddit $100k+ a month now for something that probably may not pan out. Like you said, they may not be able to retain many users once they start having to charge $10/month.

  • Yep, but I'm willing to bet that the dev negotiated something behind the scenes with Reddit to get extra time. If not, he's probably racking up some serious API costs as Relay is one of the few remaining third-party apps that works without any modifications.

  • I bet a large number of the negative comments only checked out Lemmy the weeks of the protests. I think their critiques are very accurate for that time period. But I think Lemmy now is a lot better than a month ago and a viable alternative to Reddit.

  • The dealers near me sell multiple different manufacturers under the same name. They won't be on the same lot, but they will be directly adjacent to each other so that it's effectively the same thing.

  • Sync dev can have all my Google opinion rewards money. Pretty much what I use them for.
