This is the part of the application I don't get. If GM's long term plan was to be a PU supplier, why the hell did they not apply for it as soon as the partnership was mooted. And where did I say that having the 3rd fastest car on average means that the car is shit. I am just saying that they have not recovered any pace over the others. The gap to red bull is same as it was at the start of the season. In the first 8 races, Aston was consistently faster than them with Ferrari being faster or slower depending on the track. Now McLaren is faster than them with Ferrari being faster or slower depending on the track

But they are P2 because of the inconsistency of others and not because of any car advantage. Infact I struggle to remember any race where merc were the 2nd fastest team.

You can't fault SDF for upgrading. There many highly requested features in lemmy 0.19 like instance blocking. Also many of the clients have done the porting work necessary for 0.19 so they thought that switching to a beta version will have more pros than cons.

KDE plasma is a Desktop Environment(DE). It controls the look of your desktop and to some degree how you interact with your computer. You can use kde plasma in almost any distribution. It is somewhat analogous to launchers in android with the caveat that DEs affect a lot of more of the system than launchers do in android.

While I don't know how, I do know that there is a way to have mesa for most things while having AMF encoder for encoding. Nobara has this set up out of the box so there is some way. Maybe you could search for it using a search engine

You can change this allocation from the BIOS if you are so inclined. Not that it makes it any better. Sharing 8 gigs between cpu and iGPU is only acceptable when you are doing nothing but web browsing on the laptop/pc
