  • Let's face the RB car is Newey

That seems incredibly insulting to the other supremely talented engineers at red bull. One man alone cant develop a car. What he can is guide a team if talented designers. See how merc are still pretty much where they were last year in competitiveness even though James Allison was added back to the technical department.

Adrian newey is the difference maker, not the sole reason for success.

  • Part of me kind of just wishes he had more... personality? It's so hard for me to either love him or hate him right now. He kind of just blandly exists, quietly taking poles and wins.

That is his personality. He is a guy who lives and breaths racing. When he is not racing(or Sim racing), he enjoys time with family and friends. He is just a simple guy from the looks of it. Football equivalent would be like messi. Guys who love their profession but are private about their personal life.

  • He literally closed a 4 second gap to Tsunoda from lap 41. He was clearly faster than Tsunoda at the end of the race.

Well Yuki was either in the dirty air or struck behind slower cars which allowed Ric to catch up. He might have faster around lap 50 but between verstappen coming to lap them and the softs degrading, it was a stupid swap. By the end of the race, the soft to hard crossover was reached and Yuki was the same pace/marginally faster.

It was agreed upon beforehand so it's nonsensical to not agree with the order when it comes.

Yeah making calls based on pre race agreements without taking the race situation into context is stupidity. It is the kind of stupidity we have mocked repeatedly when we have seen it from ferrari

  • Yuki behaved childishly

    This is true.

And he should have let Ricciardo by quicker during the race.

But I don't see why he should have done this. By the time Ric caught up to Yuki, we had almost reached the soft to hard crossover point. Swapping at that time for 12th place made no sense to me.
