  • Perez drove an entire lap while going deliberately slow in every corner of sector 3 in Abu Dhabi and didn't get penalized. Hamilton didn't bin the car either. Considering that, there is no way this penalty is justified. What if Alonso had a sudden PU issue slowing him down¿? Would Russell still blame Alonso for the crash when it is his responsibility to react and maintain control¿?

  • My experience has been positive so far on a laptop with RDNA1 graphics(5500m). There is no true graphics switching. The iGPU is responsible for drawing things on the screen. What it does is offload heavy rendering tasks to the dGPU and then draws the rendered output provided to it by the dGPU. This leads to a small performance penalty but gives graphics switching on laptops without dedicated hardware to enable it.

So all in all, hybrid graphics works well in laptops with an AMD dGPU. I would argue the experience is better than the one in windows.

  • So Ric is just 0.15 seconds faster than de vries with a whole year of car development behind him. There is no possible universe where he should be ahead of tsunoda on the list potential red bull drivers. Yuki on the other hand is giving a very good account of himself. Just needs to gain that maturity he seems to lack which I believe he will gain - max was pretty immature and accident/mistake prone until his midway through his fourth season and he matured. Considering tsunoda was fast tracked to F1(he had only 3 years single seater experience before F1), he is understandably a little behind on his maturity.

  • The question is which rules should be changed. Until he has no idea as to where red bull are gaining their advantage, there can be no calls to change the rules. They have already been burnt by the floor edge raise that they were the biggest proponents of.

  • I would say it is worthy of more than one penalty point. He put the mechanic who holds the lollipop (or in redbull's case a light board) in a dangerous situation where he had to dodge Perez when the pitlane was really busy. If it had been George just behind Perez, the mechanic would have been straight in his path as he dodged Perez
