  • Interesting. Kind of sounds like they are helping incentivize targeting health insurance execs. Clearly the execs there are actually afraid and are responding to that. They are basically saying they will only change things for the better when their lives are at risk. Not sure that was the message they wanted out there but that's how it came out.

  • The words "deny," "defend" and "depose" were discovered by detectives on the shell casings found at the scene where Brian Thompson, the CEO of major insurance group UnitedHealthcare, was gunned down, police sources told ABC News late Wednesday evening.

Maybe it is it not a good idea to deny coverage...

  • Looks like Costa also co-sponsored a bill that let's farmers dump their toxic shit without any oversight and he supports building the Keystone XL pipeline. He also was blocking the ACA passage for a while. He's a shit bird.

  • Absolutely. I've used it to write basic scripts that I didn't feel like spending time on. I've also used it to write cover letters. I always make sure to peruse through it to see what it did and make sure it works or sounds right.

  • It literally was his own personal fiefdom because he directly owned it. It wasn't until all the bad press came out that the Belgian government forced him to hand it over to Belgium proper. The Belgian government then proceeded to do a light form of Leopold's system: forced labor via imprisonment but without the incentive to chop off limbs.

  • Again, I'm perfectly fine with Democrats playing dirty when it helps the country as a whole. They want to gerrymander to hell to get something like socialized health insurance passed or something like ranked choice voting? Have at it. This is just nepotism. It doesn't help you. It doesn't help the Democratic Party. Nobody should be for this.

  • We don't have a system that allows for third parties. Push for ranked choice voting or approval voting at the local and state levels. Also push for an increase in the House and multi member districts. If you want a viable third party, it has to be built up from the base and can't just be some asshole who runs every four years for publicity.
