At least on iOS, I prefer Avelon the best as it's the most iOS native feeling app. A close second for me on iOS is Mlem. Both I still use from their betas, but both are now in the App Store as well, go give them a try if anyone hasn't already!
Appreciate the nitter link, thank you! A few (many?) of us no longer user Twitter actively or even have an account there, it's essentially de-listed site to avoid for me, but at least with Nitter you can still see some of the content when needed to.
Only managed to pick up about 8 water bottle types, and about 2 small trash bags worth of random debris, rubber, ropes/lines, and for the love of all that is holy why do people smash glass bottles, like come on! But overall getting dirty helped make my area just a tiny bit cleaner for a little while and I can't complain about that!
Sadly, it's going to need to get a lot worse (it's already worse) for most Americans to feel enough of the squeeze to care. Until then, the beatings will continue until moral improves...
This has been going on for years now. I feel bad for those that suffer there because of this, but if you choose to willingly live there when you have the means to leave, I don't feel sorry for you anymore. It's the ones unable to leave that I truly feel bad for, those that don't have any other choice.
I don't know if I'll commit as hard and long as you, but nonetheless you have inspired me to walk out this evening with a trash bag to go pick up some litter. Captain Planet would be so proud of us.
Or worse, your favorite channel gets bought by someone else and they turn it into something COMPLETELY different. Always hurts a little unsubscribing at that point, but what ya gonna do!
How much of an "expert" is this tech guy really? (sarcasm) But seriously, he's left multiple corporate platforms before, like Facebook and now Twitter. If only there was some non-corporate controlled social media that he could use to talk to people. If only.....
You can always end up somewhere, even if you fall ass backwards into it. While I understand what RSS is, what I fail to understand is how people find it useful. I never understood using RSS to see 2 lines of a headline article that I'm going to go to the website for anyways. So it just never fit my workflow. Hopefully that makes it make a bit more sense.
I had no idea Ukraine's history until Moscow invaded them over a year ago. Since then I've learned a lot about Ukrainian history, which helps immensely provide better context in an area I otherwise would know very little. Still not an expert, but when you know more of the complexities like you mentioned, it helps to show the bigger picture so things end up making more sense. Thanks again.
I'm not a smart man by any stretch, but I always assumed growing up that it was just fantasy, so never expected those same things to happen in a real situation with a significant other. I'm surprised people took it so literally, but I can't say I'm 100% shocked either.
I just couldn't get into RSS feeds back when it was growing in its popularity. No chance I'll understand using it any better now lol. I am a fool of a took.
here, here!
