  • "Yeah some people have multiple doctors (especially elderly) but most only have one pharmacist or one place they refill their meds."

Damn, I never really even thought about it like that before, that's for helping me to realize this.

  • Not all heroes wear capes, but you are a godsend!

  • Can’t a single Dem do what Tuberville is doing and block appointments too or that’s just naive thinking?🤔

  • It's crazy to think or maybe my memory is misremembering history a little bit(?), but for Reddit users in general it was like "it's sad to leave this platform after +10 years" but with Digg it was mostly "yeah...fuck this place went to hell, I'm out!"

  • What if you're in your late 30's and you have ~20k in debt and barely any savings to last a month. I'm staring down a hopeless void.

  • I wasn’t making any argument, merely offering advice how to change something and my experience in doing so. But my comment clearly upset a lot of Chrome users because I mentioned Google not respecting your privacy, which is a given for a lot of companies.

  • On Safari (iOS), Apple makes it easy to switch. Settings > Safari > Search Engine and select which one you want. I’ve been using DDG not quite a year and at first the change felt a lil jarring, but knowing I’m contributing less to Google’s ad revenue and their long list of privacy violations, I’m comfortable now sticking with DDG. Change isn’t always easy, convenient, or comfortable, but it can be done with just the tiniest bit of effort.

  • Some of us never dusted off that ole booty hat, arggggg!!

  • My dude you’re not here to convince me, you’re here to try convince yourself you’ve already resigned. Stop making excuses and just use Firefox. Over and out, cheers!

  • You're so close but you're still missing the point. Google gives money to Firefox to make it the default search, that's it. Google has zero say what Firefox does besides it being the default search engine. Google does the same thing with Apple's Safari, they give Apple literally over a Billion dollars just to be the default search, so would Apple be bad then too? If I can encourage you Just to use Firefox and try not to make excuses for staying with Google's browsers just because Firefox isn't absolutely perfect.

  • Sorry I'm out of the loop, but just searched it. Looks like Sync is $2/month or $17/year, is that the pricing people were upset about or? Because that hardly seems like anything to bulk at, but I don't know the whole situation either.

  • Nothing against Vivaldi, used it a lot since it's release, but found my way back to Firefox last year since I just couldn't stand giving Google anymore power over the web market. The less I give Google, the better I feel, but also the better off the web will be. Once again as a company Vivaldi does a fantastic job and their stances on privacy are admirable, but I just can't support Chromium these days.

  • Got Firefox 118 and the very first website I tested it on failed. Does not translate Russian. Seriously? smh, hope they add more languages in the near future because other browsers have had this feature for years.

  • Which video was that? Would greatly appreciate a link if you can find it, thank you!

Edit: I believe it was this one - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kUfF2MTnqAw

Edit2: Just finsihed that video, holy crap that's a must watch for people. tl;dw, when a plane is cruising at 35,000 feet and the cabin loses oxygen, you have at best 15-30 seconds before you pass out, so when the airlines says mask up first before helping others, it will literally save your life.

  • Maybe I'm just old, but I never want to adopt VR, just like I never wanted to adopt 3-D Tvs.

  • If Menendez resigns, does that mean the Dems lose control of the Senate?

  • WHAT? People love self check out, what is this tomfoolery?! lol
