"Officially" maybe not, but Goldman was denaturalized like a decade after she should've been because the government wanted a reason to deport her and they couldn't while she was a US citizen. So they made her denaturalization retroactive. Steimer was denaturalized and deported for the "crime" of printing and distributing anti-war leaflets.
I literally just got a Kobo Libra Colour a few days ago. Works great so far. I wouldn't recommend it for your back pocket though, too large for that. I think they offer smaller e-readers, but I'm not sure which ones might fit well in a pocket.
In China, you own the house, you just don't own the land. Technically, the land is leased to you. For residential purposes though, you get about the same rights to the land as you do in the US though, but in most cases it's a lot cheaper because you pay a fee every 70 or so years vs. every year that we pay property taxes. That also means that the government has fewer opportunities to take your land away from you than they do in the US (if you don't pay your property taxes in the US, your land will be sold in a tax sale after a couple years). Your heirs still inherit your lease and have the right to renew when that 70 year mark comes back around. It's a contributing factor towards the insanely high homeownership rate in China, which is around like 96 or 97 percent I think?
It's both. It's a beautiful little call and response like system they have evolved to do. Typically the males will light up while they are flying and the females light up on the ground. There are some species that are predatory though and will mimic and use the lights to hunt the others.
Do you mind me asking you which distro you use? I've tried running BG3 on Linux Mint and I can't seem to get the game to ever load into the world. I get all the way to the in-game menu and into the loading screen after that and then it hangs and crashes. Every time. I've tried using a couple different versions of Proton, tried out a few different versions of Nvidia graphics drivers... No luck yet.
That's not the point I was contesting. I agree with that. I just don't agree with minimizing what Biden has done and acting like he's just passively complicit in all this while making the point that Trump is terrible. They're both awful and Biden has done way worse than "nothing".
You can think that all you'd like but it's wrong. You're literally saying that because others have done a thing, someone else doing the thing is actually doing nothing. Literal nonsense. Trump is and will be worse, but it's absolute worse cope to simp for a president like Biden who actively contributed to what's happening there. It would make for a way more productive discussion if you and everyone else would concede that instead of doubling down on this imaginary idea that Biden did nothing.
Biden actively pushed for and got more weapons sent to Israel that enabled all this. If "just didn't do shit" is actually doing lots of shit that was bad, then sure he "just didn't do shit".
They mean "live on the internet" as in happening in real time AKA live streamed.
