  • We found no goblins, we found no ghouls, because they don't exist!

  • The simple fact that it was the closest thing I could find to the Ableton Live workflow I am used to that also natively supports Linux. I have since tried the FOSS DAW Zrythm, which is also Ableton-like. But I had some minor issues getting something working, so decided to just wait until it matures to put further effort into trying it out.

  • Bitwig Studio is what finally allowed me to fully switch to Linux instead of keeping a Mac just for using Ableton Live.

  • I am not an iOS user in any way. Does Voyager actually look/feel different than a native Swift app in any way? Or does it just bother you to know, in the back of your mind, that it is not native?

  • I use Fedora, and I have no idea how to interpret my representation here.

  • Too many to choose from in Arrested Development

  • Who decided that all SciFi has to be dystopian, brooding, militaristic, or horror?

The Battlestar Galactica reboot caused an awful trend. Other studios clamored to try to recreate its success.

  • Didn't they lift the PSN account requirement on PC just a few days ago?

    Just on four particular games

  • Regarding the post title: Lemmy itself allows you to block communities, instances, and users. But it does not support filtering by keyword, e.g. filtering out any post with the word "platypus" in the title regardless of where it was posted or by whom. With help from the comments below, here are some third party Lemmy clients that have their own implementation of keyword filtering:

    • Boost
    • Connect
    • Eternity
    • Interstellar
    • Raccoon
    • Summit
    • Sync
    • Tesseract
    • Thunder
    • Voyager

    Do NOT support keyword filtering:

    • Alexandrite
    • Jerboa
    • Lemmy UI
    • mlmym
    • Next
    • Photon
    • Quiblr

  • I was able to come up with a list of similar scenarios for various languages using a simple formula in LibreOffice Calc: =LEN(A2)=ROW(A2)-1 (row 1 being a header row)

  • That's a very Earth-centric assumption

  • Desktop mode, or do you mean nested desktop? Either way, I have not noticed that limitation.

  • I don't want anything weird or innovative, just basic (so things like pie and kiss are out)

Are we thinking about the same KISS? Because "nothing weird or innovative, just basic" is kind of the core philosophy of this launcher
