I transitioned but the lack of approval from my friends regarding the rule changes kept me from being motivated enough to write my own rulebook. We play a different rule system than DnD and my friends were like "Oh no, we like our fights uninteresting. Motivates us to seek other solutions" which is great that they're choosing non violent solutions but sometimes fights are unavoidable.

Funny enough, some of my proposed rule changes later appeared in an extra rule book by the official authors because they also thought that fights could be more interesting. Sadly I had no hand in that but I'm glad it happened because my friends are really heavy on sticking to official rules. Sorry this kinda turned into a rant.

I don't know if it's a problem with my OS but i couldn't select audio sources. The button was grayed out and set to "all system audio" so I didn't use it as the quality of clips was worse than GPU Screen Recorder. I just want to watch stuff on the side while playing games without that audio getting recorded but i heard doing it through OBS has a bigger impact on performance.

You go say "assassinate people on stage if you don't like them" to a crowd with more guns than people and where shootings are already a daily occurrence.

I'd not only be worried for me and my friend but for the people just standing in my audience as well. Remember the time some dude killed a lot of concert goers in Las Vegas i think from his hotel window? That's a lot more than just risking your own live by saying that.

Bazzite: funktioniert einfach

Hatte mal Ubuntu probiert und war nicht Fan. Bin jetzt seit ein paar Monaten mit bazzite unterwegs und musste nur ein Mal das Terminal öffnen, weil die einen Fehler mit dem Schlüssel zur Authentifizierung der OS Versionen gemacht hatten und neue Updates einen anderen Schlüssel hatten oder so. Bin echt erstaunt, wie gut alles läuft.

Look i read a lot of your stuff and agree with a bunch of it and disagree with a bunch which is fine but NEVER downplay the terrors nazi Germany caused again. You don't know shit about anything if you think the US is more genocidal and racist than nazi Germany. The US is a shit country with a broken system that lets you choose between trash and a dumpster fire but holy shit was Nazi Germany bad. You seem to be from the US so maybe you don't get taught a lot about it. Yes, the US is complicit in genocide but there's levels to it. The Germans were worse, they'd tell you to pack all your important belongings if you were a Jew or anyone else on their list of undesirables. Then they'd throw you in a train after taking all your important belongings you so neatly sorted for them so they don't have to put big effort into searching your place for riches. You'd get treated as an animal in a container and brought to a camp, split up from your family. At this point your fate almost certainly was death. You'd get put to work. Near constant work with not enough food to sustain your body so you'd slowly decrease more and more day after day until you die. You might also get your still alive body experimented on in full pain by doctors. If the camp was already too full for new arrivals (as they didn't just go after their own population but they waged war all over and put more and more people in camps) or if they just felt like it they'd put you down like an animal, be it gas chambers or other methods. Like i get that the prison system in the US is ethnically targeted slavery and the US has and had their fingers in a lot of fucked up shit but don't ever use fucking nazi Germany for your hyperbole again.

But isn't Slim doing the "I'm all for em, BUT..." thing and then goes on to say some fucked up shit iirc? As far as I've listened this album is about Em's conflict with Slim where Slim is an absolute asshole stuck in early 2000s. But I've only listened like twice and probably won't again.

It's just that the focus goes a lot more to nipples. If you wear a tight shirt with external secondaries you better wear a bra or be prepared to get started on or even get shit from people.

Windows also does not have 100% compatibility. Try playing something like age of wonders 1 on current windows. I could run in out of the box on steam deck but not on my pc that at the time had windows 10. I think Windows no longer has compatibility with win 98 and lower but i might be misremembering.

Because some people can't see well enough to read the text on the image or identify what's happening in it. They use screen readers that read text out loud for them but those screen readers can't recognize the text or context of the picture either so we put a text description, so people with bad vision can still enjoy the memes through those screen readers

We already have consequences, yes, but they could become a lot worse if we don't do something.

This is not a meme of everything natural being allowed but a meme countering bigots claiming homosexuality is unnatural which they take as the reason to not want it allowed (because they've already lost on the angle of it being ethically wrong). Just because something is natural, doesn't mean it's good. It just means it's not unnatural and you're somehow confusing the two. What's good is an ethical and altogether different question.

I've looked a bit into the past of this community and there's quite a bunch of open source projects shared here and none of them had people in the comments complaining about that. Honestly just seems like thinly veiled queer hate to me.

I'm still on the first chapter but it's awesome. But I got stuck on 2 of the bonus puzzles and age of wonders 4 and Elden Ring both dropped dlc as well so I'm currently playing way too much Elden Ring. I have to say that the philosophising in the first chapter didn't land with me but maybe that's because love for me isn't something to thoroughly analyze.

I was the same. I tried Ubuntu once and went back after a day or two because i didn't want to bother tinkering after work when i just want to relax. A few weeks ago I was finally so annoyed by Microsoft's bs that i tried bazzite which gets recommended a lot here and it is great. I didn't have to open the terminal even once so far, everything just works right out of the box.

So far I've tried Elden Ring (online as well with anti cheat), Age of Wonders 4, Talos Principle 2, Baldurs Gate 3 and a few others and they all just work and not in the Todd Howard way but actually. I also went through a bunch of the recent demo flood on steam and no issues.

I'm gonna miss Valorant but I mostly played that one once in a few months. And i can always just make a little 300GB windows partition that i only boot for invasive anti cheat games.

So what you're saying is you're scared of the supposed negative impacts on society. The negative impact being less people are depressed and less people kill themselves as they can openly be who they are without someone shoving their heteronormative worldview based on misinformation down their throats. The comment-times both say 6 days for the arch user and 4 days for the person commenting "a day" so I'm assuming on their end there was about a day time difference between the time the arch user posted the post about the button and realising they're probably trans, which is exceptionally fast and worthy of the day comment.

Not part of the discussion but i can really recommend Firefox with ublock origin on mobile. I recently switched a lot of stuff i did in app on mobile back to the browser because of that, like YouTube, and it's so great finally being rid of ads on mobile.

The same could be said for vegetarians and vegans at some point but about every year i read that meat consumption is down a few percent compared to the previous year in Germany. A single person switching OS doesn't matter. Getting others to switch who also get others to switch is in the long term changing things.
