  • That's the reason back in 2013 or so I switched to PS3 for my main gaming. MS wanted a shitload for a tiny ass 360 hard drive, but with Sony it came with a 250GB drive out the gate and I replaced it with a 1TB for less than the 250 from Microsoft

Of course, I switched to PC because Sony got greedy again with no mp3s on the system, trying to make me re-buy games I already had, and charging for online

  • I mean, you've already made a bad choice going with an inkjet. Buying more ink is a bad decision. So is buying a new printer but you might get better features

And if anything you're part of a nice metric that shows buying replacement ink isn't happening

  • Exactly. It just saves you the step of refollowing. Not a value-less feature, but my own posts matter to me too.

If an instance is shutting down I can migrate and keep ally followers but I'll just be at zero again for content. Not a good situation

  • It's not even the speed. It's also the content. All from all instances seems cool until you can't read 80% of it because it's in another language. I'm glad those instances exist but when I have to scroll through 5 posts to see one I can read, and it's some low-effort post (on average) the experience is not a good one

Even after all that work, you've gotten through 3 seconds of the world's timeline

Local is a good one, if your instance is lively enough. Then you can add people and see boosts and your world grows nicely

  • It's just showing that people like you have the dumbest arguments time and time again

They're against "socialism" as they drive on publicly funded roads. Against "welfare" as they use WIC on food. Against where "my tax dollars go" when they are too poor to pay taxes. Hyper-pro second amendment people who get irritated when people enjoy the 1st amendment in ways they don't like.

Societies don't work when everything we hate is shut down. And for the loons on the right, that involves shutting down just about everything.

I'm not sure where and when it became a desired trait to be selfish and lack empathy with people like you, but it's pathetic

  • They always have a rallying cry until it affects them then it's clear it was never about that. Always for prayer until it's not Christian. Always for states rights until a state wants to do something like legalize abortion. Always for freedom of speech until companies use it to set their own terms of service.

Just lying sacks of hypocritical shit. They're free to live the miserable, difficult, stifled, no fun life they've chosen to live. But that doesn't give them the right to force others into their hellscape
