There are a handful of other PeerTube-compatible apps on F-Droid already - just search for PeerTube.

There is a live-streaming unofficial app on F-Droid. A few other PeerTube apps exist, but the only other one that looks like it might support upload is this one. I don't watch videos much, so I dunno.

Yeah, no - you obviously have no idea how little most of them make. Further, many of them just want to do the research they're interested in, and don't spend much time concerning themselves about the politics because politics is inherently irrational while science is all about being rational.

I would imagine they're going to pursue similar deals with the other island nations in the area, then possibly start building military ties & bases.

The fact they still haven't been caught despite all the attention this has gotten so far tells me the shooter knew what they were getting into & was prepared for it. Legally speaking, I think that eliminates a "temporary insanity" defense, but I don't think it should. Someone despondent over losing a dearly loved one due to the completely arbitrary, cynical, and sometimes outright ghastly "healthcare" system we live under refusing to provide the service they were paid for seems like something that would lead to a temporary insanity that just lasts a very long time.

Why not? It's a perfectly fair response to the violence perpetuated upon millions of "customers" annually, made "legitimate" by paid off lawmakers. Why should we not be allowed to respond in kind when they're allowed to kill us - just because it's in a more roundabout method? Fuck 'em. I've never been a gun type, but right-wingers have really been getting me to rethink that stance.

BPC has been forced to host there due to "the rich MUST GET RICHER" policies that drive the US legal system. I've been using it just fine, but if it helps you feel safer, then install one of the several Firefox or Chrome clones out there that let you install extensions, and only use it in that one.
