We're all just supposed to pretend like Israel isn't the weirdest country on the planet. You'd think the term "religious ethnostate" would say all that needs to be said, but no, somehow seemingly normal, sane people think there is nothing wrong with it and in fact encourage it..

The issue is bipartisan. Dems love Israel just the same it seems.

I think it's pretty clear that the Dems want to conflate the two issues.

Maybe Dems shouldn't have tried to shoehorn Israel funding into that bill if they really gave a shit about Ukraine. Yes we all know Republicans are awful, I'm getting pretty tired of hearing how Dems are "the good guys".

I don't think a religious ethnostate is a good thing. I also don't think running an open air prison inside your ethnostate is a good thing.

Dems trying to conflate the problems of Ukraine with the problems of Israel is a joke. They are not the same, and to even pretend they are is disingenuous and downright ignorant.

Sure, just seems like libs get pretty excited whenever they can throw support behind a "just" war. Don't get too comfortable calling them "the good guys".

But Israel doesn't. Fuck them.

Boy Libs sure do love themselves a war. Especially when it's halfway across the world and they don't have to send their own children to die.

People down voting this but not arguing it is pretty telling. Libs hate being criticised but can't argue it without sounding whiny "they tried!!"

Not to mention that when everyone decided they didn't want to work those jobs, they all threw a fit that no one wanted to work anymore. Wow I can't believe the industry that "isn't a real job" full of "unskilled labor" doesn't have people lining up to work at.

Because headlines are for clicks in 2023. If that headline gets you interested in clicking at all, then they've succeeded.

I mean, people are doing that. It's just that it'd be a hell of a lot cheaper to program an AI to be creative than to pay actual creative people.

I'm not on here talking about the "change" I'm enacting by voting third party. I'm not pretending I'm doing anything except for voting for the candidate I believe in and I don't really see why it's such a controversial take on these boards.

He's a union guy through and through. I'm sure he's seen worse at local teamster meetings

I'll exercise my right to vote for whoever I want. It's honestly wild to have this argument with liberals every single year. The Dems don't deserve my vote just because I don't like the other guy and you aren't going to shame me into voting for their guy.

It's not wasted for me. I'll vote for whoever I want. I don't care if they don't win, I understand the politics of this country, but I refuse to vote for someone I don't agree with and who my values don't align with. I'm not here to play a numbers game, that's not for me to play, I just want to vote for the candidates best aligned with my views.
