The Snipping tool is so useful when I'm trying to explain to someone what's going on, on one of my screens without taking a large 3 monitor screenshot.
A person who runs the instance blocks ones that may be deemed as unsafe, you can further block users and sometimes instances depending on the instance (But this will only block it for your view)
If the Instance displays it publicly than yes overwise no
Mastodon is more towards what Twitter is like, as Lemmy is more towards Reddit, Crossover for them can be done on things like Kbin/Mbin but they are confusing to begin with. If you have a certain Social Media you like we can most likely find a Fediverse version
Yeah it would be nice to see some other coders ideas on the Fediverse. If I knew the first thing when it came to coding I would creating something that would work me, don't get me wrong I love the Fediverse and what everyones done just sometimes it feels there's a few things missing
Sorry it auto does the @ on my instance (I use Mbin btw). But yeah I know that some people are hateful, I guess it's because people feel they can be more open without consequences often.
@livus Lol yeah, it seems more people sit and maybe comment but there's just so much room for people to talk about the topic and even do there own posts but I guess most people just want to look at it and not interact.
@infreq Why does it have to be articles? I've read a few of them that are connected from people on Mbin but I like genuine people posting on smaller communities and things.
@EnderMB Yeah I really hope the smaller communities start popping off a little more as it would be good to have smaller subs like them grow and get created.
@totallynotsocsa I suggest trying out different instances, luckily it's the Fediverse you can move around and try some out, I see you're using beehaw and I hope that's a lot better for you, if not try Kbin / Mbin as they are great Instances as well.
