If you want any chance for things to improve then you have to vote. Not voting or protest voting only helps the worst candidate.

To me the fact that you're passionate about voting means you believe that it's possible for things to improve and in my book that's being optimistic.

Take the only fans out of the equation. I personally know a lot of educators who work two jobs during the year. Bottom line teachers and aides do not make enough money.
