Yeah I went 3 months without having a single face to face conversation with someone, it was pretty shit even with online gaming and discord.

I feel like that’s more a problem of whatever specific gyms you are going to. Ones I go to have usually have signs up saying no cameras allowing people to just focus on their own workout. Regardless, the point is that if you want to help people overcome their “the world is against me, no woman wants me” mind set of an incel, there should be more spaces that let people interact with others outside of online algorithm controlled or bot account flooded social media platforms. Places to meet and converse with real people of any gender. All of a sudden they will probably realise that most people are actually nice. Most people don’t generally go around trying to make people feel shit or uncomfortable.

These third spaces don’t have to be exclusively young men lol. In fact it might be better if they aren’t given the specific topic of people we are talking about in this thread. In general an increase in community locations is a good thing, but it seemed especially so for people in the intel rabbit hole. Somewhere casual they can come out of their shells and meet people in the real world!

Yeah and the reason young men are finding it hard to have real life friends and end up on uncle forums is because we lost most of our “third spaces” thanks to them not making money and shutting down or being underfunded or closed if they were publicly owned.

Ontop of this the constant algorithms that push specific topics to people over and over due to it keeping them on the platform and therefore generates income.

It does feel like 75% of this problem could be fixed by stopping corporate greed and fixing our local communities as whole.

Are the game developers and artists wages now being increased by the same percentage though? You are correct overall, especially in places like the UK where wages have been stagnant since like 2008 it feels like. But letting a company off the hook for raises “due to inflation” if they themselves are not raising their workers salaries to meet that inflation is bullshit.

Guys, as a European, does this only affects servers and hardware built in the US right? Isn’t most of it built in china and owned by US companies? So it’s literally only the US this will affect?

Assuming the scale is the same or similar to the GBA SP back in the day, this looks horrendously un-ergogenomic…even as a kid the location of the buttons was sometimes awkward to hold for longer sessions, also the lower down place of those thumb sticks would make it 10 times worse!

The safety car / red flag timings have been atrocious for years at this point. It’s like the control team aren’t actually watching the main stream and are only using shitty cctv around the circuit or something.

Immediately after seeing the mirror in the middle of the main straight which is the main overtaking part of this track I called out they need a safety car for a marshal to get on and retrieve it… but they didn’t. Then bottas hit it and spread debris everywhere, they still didn’t safety car to sweep it all up. Then Hamilton and sainz got a puncture and it will took them like 2 mins to deploy the SC….

I feel like maybe f1 could benefit from some sort of “code 60” like zone that NLS and N24 have. A mandatory pit limit area of the track, allows the race to continue for a few mins while a marshal is on track, but keeps them safe still. That way you don’t have a full neutralisation like a full SC, but it’s much safer than a VSC for a person to climb over the barriers to retrieve debris.

Oh awesome, I’ve been using the webcord version as the others were all shit for screen sharing. Having said that even webcord also has weird sound issue sim hoping are fixed with this.

Wasn’t their a Firefox plugin that did this? I recall a while ago to help do the same with Amazon but I never installed it and I don’t remember what it was called…

Hopefully someone brave enough does scan and let’s us know out of curiosity. I mean, I just expect some sort of crypto scam but still…
