Not a supporter, but I feel like just about anybody can fall for this shit these days.

This fucker is 79 and is terrified of spending his last remaining years in prison. I just don’t understand why he got so embroiled in this effort to overturn the election? At that age, and after I think what many consider to be a prominent career in politics, why the fuck do you put it all on the line so some shitbag can be president again? I don’t understand how personally invested people have gotten with Trump despite such perilous consequences.

Gotta take the high road though.

I think there is some provision in their state law that states the electors have to cast their votes on the grounds of the state capitol.

I’m struggling with this too, but I think the idea is that it allows for fully synchronous requests. You can wait for something long running to finish or for response data to be returned (this could be a generated AI response) and still close out the initial request. The old way to do it was to issue the service call and then monitor the state of the entity to confirm it changed.

I also think it can help with multiple service calls tied into the same verbal request (e.g. “Turn on the light and open the shades”).
