  • My original response (below) was posted to the wrong post. Duh ... me. Please ignore.

"The company said any fluctuations it decides to test in the future “would be designed to benefit our customers and restaurant crew members.” " How sweet. They're doing it for us. What a bunch of BS.

  • The people that want a theocracy want it based on their religion and their interpretation of that religion. This way they can present what they want as what god wants and that gives them complete control over you since you have to obey god.

  • Any time they talk about not looking back but looking forward "“We’ve got to leave the negativity and the baggage behind", it means -I'll forgive them for what they did in hopes the people that come after me will forgive me in the same way.

  • Where in KDE are those settings? I see Flatpak permissions listed in Discover (bottom of right panel,) but you can't change them there. Not sure where else to look. I've been using Flatseal but if it isn't needed ...

  • The ability to "subscribe" to a thread so you could be told when anyone adds to the thread. I don't understand how people follow a thread without this. You would have to constantly be going back to it (over and over) to seeing if anything was added.

  • Conservatives are into controlling people and mostly controlling women. If anything is surprising, it is that there are any women conservatives at all. This is also very similar to religions that treat women poorly. Why are any woman part of those religions?

  • That and not being able to be notified when there are new replies to a topic (you are only notified if some repplies to something you wrote.) That means you read something and have to go back to it regularly to see if there are new replies. That doesn't work at all.

  • I always wondered how bragging about how long you worked was considered by some as a good thing. The "higher ups" must have used some fancy tricks to get people to think that way. It never worked on me though :)
