Screw all Venture capitalist. They destroy everything they touch. Why should a worker give all they've got just to get screwed in the end?

So let's all cut down (or better yet, cut out) subscribing to things. That way we don't need an easy way to cancel and everyone will be happy ... except for the predators that live off of ripping people off with subscriptions.

We need a third party, but not one made/controlled by a billionaire. We need a new party by and for the common people.

Any religion that ever was, is or will be. Dumb for the people that fall for it, smart for the people that run it.

AI is going to make customer service so much worse than it is now. Makes me want to be a customer as infrequently as possible.

I like Lemmy enough that it has replaced Reddit for my general browsing.

I don't like there is no way to get notification (subscribe to) a post to see new replies that come in after I've read the post for the first time..

For example, I see a post with a few replies and want to see when more replies come in. All I can do is mark it as a favorite and try to remember to check back and see if there are new replies. What I'd like to have happen is be notified when new replies come in. Without this, I almost never follow up to posts because I don't know what/when new replies come in. This really cuts down on the usefulness of lemmy for me wrt followup information.

There are more poor than rich. We just have to come together. There is strength in numbers.

I've been looking for verification on this and many sites say different things even starting a month ago. The CDC page still has the recommendations of the past (not these restrictions mentioned in the article.) What is really going on? Are the vaccines restricted now or not? Do they have to go through some process to restrict them?

All people have to do is stop donating money to religions and the religions lose their "power".

Something I think is related is that after some time, I can't click the x on a tab to close it, but I can do middle click (L & R at the same time) to close a tab. When this happens, I also can't get into the address bar. Just started seeing this with the last update (currently on 139.0.1) snap version.

This looks very interesting. I looked at the "add-ons" page for Firefox and noticed under permissions it said "Access your data for all websites". Why would it need to access all websites? Why not just when you access YouTube?

I feel the same way. That's why I'd like to be able to make myself invisible.

Mullvad does have split tunneling on Linux and Android. I don't know about Windows.

Many young men want control and power. If they embrace religion and force it on others, they feel control and power.

I've always been leery of people who are never at fault and always blame someone else.

Of all the gods that people have ever believed in, ones that are currently believe in and any future gods, I wonder which god they meant? ;)

I sure hope so is that is all we will have left.
