  • Any interest in playing with another player? I'm looking for a server currently, and would be interested in playing with some fellow Lemmings.

  • It seems incredibly unlikely at this point. Everything that has happened has only served to embolden him, and strengthen his base. If he does not face justice then you can be damn sure he will make everyone else face his retribution if he wins another term in November.

  • Yeah, I think it is essentially over. He successfully ran out the clock already. By the time the Supreme Court hears the immunity appeal he will already be the nominee, and it is extremely unlikely they will haul him into court after that due to the optics of interfering with the election.

The scarier scenario is the Supreme Court silently waits to see if he wins, and then the conservative justices rule in his favor that he has absolute immunity if he does win. That would essentially be the end of democracy in this country.

  • Who's going to win:

    1. One fat, smelly, rapist, cult leader, and reality television has been.

    (Or)

    1. Democracy, the rule of law, and the US judicial system.

At this point my money is on option #1.

  • Don't get it twisted, I want to believe you are correct, and on some days I do. However, there is just this nagging feeling I have that it is going to come down to the wire, and be way too close for comfort. If that is the case we better be expecting large scale civil unrest no matter which way that pendulum swings. That is my fear.

  • I see every sign of a Donald Trump win in November unless he is a convicted felon, which has become exceedingly unlikely at this point given the timeline. Almost all of the available evidence points to Donald Trump winning the election, and no matter how terrifying that proposition may be I am becoming more and more convinced it is going to be the eventuality.

  • Texas is the shithole country Donald Trump was talking about back in the day, he just didn't know it.

  • Short Answer: No

Longer Answer: If Donald Trump gets back into office the people around him are going to work at lightning speed to dismantle every single system or institution that prevents the Executive branch from asserting unchecked control over the government.

Who is going to stop them? The courts have already proven ineffective in being able to reign in this kind of authoritarianism because frankly many members of the judiciary support what he is doing. They are working to institute a permanent state of minority rule in this country, and nobody is coming to save us from ourselves if/when that happens. The only solution is a rolling general strike, and organized civil disobedience. It will be fucking chaos. However bad you think it can get, it will be worse than that.

  • Even if they can't, can we just do a trade for Puerto Rico.

  • I.....I just don't even think that sounds appealing at all. If I had an SO that wanted to give me a BJ every single day I would say thank you for offering, but that's just too much.

First of all, skin is sensitive so that is quickly going to lead to some irritation, especially if it takes you a fucking hour to cum. Second of all, it is better to give than to receive. I'm trying to participate too, I don't want to feel useless. More than half the fun is making my partner feel good/valued. If I lost that element it would just kill my sex drive quickly.

I don't know why this comment made me get all in my feelings, but it really made me pissed off. Like if it is consensual whatever you do you, I'm not here to kink-shame. But who the fuck are you to make someone suck your dick every single day as a chore. What a pathetic fucking loser. How do people like that exist...I just don't even get it.

  • Or that cars are transportation...

  • Better pull out your electron microscope.

  • I think you have a fundamental misunderstanding about the point of a retaliatory military strike. The tit for tat bean counting with human lives isn't even a large part of the calculus ultimately.

Not retaliating is seen as a sign of weakness which would serve to undermine NATO's military stance of absolute first strike authority at anytime for any reason. Allowing Iran to attack US troops without a military response is relinquishing, in some small way, the US backed monopoly on violence. Right, wrong, or indifferent that is simply not something that will be allowed to happen.

  • Thank you for your response. I think you slightly misunderstood where I am at though, and what I meant by "crowdsource". I am in my mid-30's, and I am entirely focused on making a career transition into the technology sector. The crowdsourcing part of my question was in regards to which track to take based on the programs that were available at the institution I am at. Also, money isn't really an issue at this point as I diligently saved in my previous role with the specific expectation of making this transition. So, I am covered there for the foreseeable future, but I appreciate your concern. This is not a casual undertaking for me at all, and is being done entirely with purpose and intentionality. I am way beyond the fucking around stage of my life.

  • This was fantastic information. Thank you so much for taking the time to respond to my post, I sincerely appreciate it.

I actually came from a previous retail background as well, and built a small business from 1 location making $1.5 million annually to four locations making $20 million annually in 6.5 years. The owner made the decision to sell the business after surviving all of the stress during COVID, and that is what started me back on my education journey.

I developed basically every system in that business myself from the ground up, through blood sweat and tears. So for this next chapter of my life I am looking to take my career more in the tech mercenary direction for lack of a better term where I am out to focus on developing my own skills in order to live the life I want to live on my own terms as much as is reasonably possible.

So, your advice really resonates with me, and was an extremely valuable addition to my thought process.
