I like to go there to buy thermos. They have a clearance section that sells them for like $5. Big good ones too.

Oh and their cheap $1 aisle that sells seasonal stuff. I like going there for Christmas time and buying cheap Christmas decorations for the workplace lol.

The economy has been helping me boycott for years now. Can't buy if you don't have disposable income.

Need all the people that post content for the many porn subreddits to post here. Main reason why I'm still there.

I'd be down to work the 60hrs if it was voluntary overtime. But constantly? Probably not.

Wish it was ready. I have it dual booted with windows. Until these things work for me I can't permanently switch:

Adobe H264/5 in davinci free Battle.net working (I can't get it to work even with tutorials. Works in windows) AMD adrenaline/Nvidia control panels and shadow play. AMD frame gen.

I love Linux, a lot. I've distro hopped and tinkered to my hearts content. But I can't let windows go, which is why I dual-boot with Windows 11 and currently, Bazzite.

Windows doesn't have the ghub for my logitech mouse and headset. I can't use my plugins for elite dangerous or extra software, like EDMC. Many games don't work for various reasons (anti-cheat, or many other reasons). Can't say, "well don't play those games.". Well, I want to. I like those games, and they don't work on linux.

There is no AMD Adrenaline for my AMD GPU. I can't use frame gen or many other features my card has. Battle.net games just refuse to work for me, try as I might to follow every tutorial ever (I just wanted to play Diablo IV T_T ). Those features are important to me.

OBS is much crappier on linux than on windows, due to no AV1 encoding support. As a streamer, AV1 looks MUCH better than whatever linux obs uses.

And lastly, Windows (even Windows 11), just works with everything. Any software you want, you just install it. On steam you don't have to check proton.db, you're 100% guaranteed for it to work. Any software you see, it works on windows. Any peripherals, just work. All their associated software, works.

I know not everyone games, but it's the highest grossing entertainment market, so it's important to more people than not.

Ooo this will be interesting. This might completely ruin Temu. I've used it a few times to get real cheap stuff that doesn't need to be high quality (bulk craft supplies for my kids, various organizers, little accessories like phone cases, and super cheap baking supplies).

Yep they are awesome, especially Hoopla for comics. Anyone have a subscription to the Marvel/DC comic apps? If you have a library card, you can sign up for Hoopla for free and check out comics.

Nah it's pretty common. Especially if someone brings up Gaming Distros^TM. You sometimes get passionate individuals that argue over them.

This is pretty great! I'm interested to see how the quality will compare with my OBS replay buffer settings. One of the best things is that it's coming to Steam Deck! Mostly excited to see how well this works on Linux.
