Acting as if dislike of Hilary is solely due to sexism is either simple-minded ignorance or dismissive of people that aren't your enemy.

I voted for her, but not because I thought she was a good and honest person. I don't think that at all, and would rather Bernie have won the nomination. She was way more qualified and way less of a dangerous wildcard than Trump, so she got my vote but not everyone saw it that way unfortunately.

Among the current Repugs I'd pick Hailey now, but none of them will get my vote in the general.

It's rare to hear of someone killing or injuring themselves working on home electrical fixes. I'm pretty old and can't even recall an incident. Most people won't do it because they do have enough fear not to play around with it. But if you do know enough, you know how incredibly simple it is to replace an outlet or light switch and how to do it safely. Even a overhead light or fan is pretty trivial. Also the US 120v standard is less likely to cause harm with a stupid mistake than some other countries that have higher voltages. I'm thankful the states allow homeowners to do this themselves.

There are definitely things people shouldn't do with a license, but swapping switches and outlets is more trivial than changing the oil on your car.

Couldn't agree more. It's a great shell and scripting language. It's object-oriented nature, native support for virtually every text format (csv, json, xml) and great libraries for others (yaml, excel), awesome regex and web/rest services support... it's hard to beat and works on virtually every platform.

Too few people in the Linux community will even look at it though since it has MS name on it.

He isn't holding out for alternate candidates. He just wants the Pentagon to reverse its abortion policy. If he were doing this to get alternative candidates approved, it would require alternate recommendations coming from elsewhere in the military, which isn't occurring, and the Senate democrats wouldn't approve them anyway.

Getting cavities is a lot about the prevelance of sugar and highly-refined carbs. Some people are more susceptible than others due to differences in saliva, but the typical western diet is horrible for your teeth.

Erroring on the side of public safety seems a whole lot better than erroring on the side of companies only interested in profit.

Nothing I said suggests they should be relegated there. I do not believe they should be driven out when they have no place else to go. Too many places want to break up their camps without giving them any alternatives... making them miserable so they'll go elsewhere. I'm all for providing shelters and raising taxes to do it. As I said, I've volunteered working with the homeless many times when I used to work in and live near a downtown area. I hope to do more in the future though at the moment live a long ways away from an urban area to do so.

Alternative is you show empathy for the civilians and you go do the difficult task of eradicating the terrorists with soldiers on the ground. More Israeli soldiers die, for sure, but a whole lot less civilians and children die and the world empathizes with your difficulty, maybe even the Palestinian people.

But unfortunately the current Israeli government hasn't been treating the Palestinians like humans, and isn't about to start.

A green, shaded spot to camp is a lot better than many homeless have it I'm afraid. Better than a freeway underpass if I had to choose personally.

The homeless don't think those "green spaces" are worthless. Without them, where do you think they go? Just disappear??

I won't either, and I think most decent people wouldn't. But that doesn't mean you have to side with Neten-yahoo's Israel either.

My heart is heavy for the Palestinian civilians that are being absolutely massacred now. They aren't allowed to leave the area, they did nothing wrong and Israel says, after the fact, "some bad guys might have been hiding in your building and needed to die. We know lots of innocent men, women and children were there too, but we don't want our soldiers to be in harms way so instead of coming in on foot, we're going to bomb the entire building and say "sorry, not sorry" for all the dead babies afterwards." Repeat x 1000

Imagine a building with 3 terrorist holding 10 hostages as human shields and 50 more innocents locked in the building with them. The police then say, "yeah, we have them surrounded and they can't get away. We don't want to let the customers out because one of them might be a terrorist in disguise, and we don't want to negotiate, and if we send some swat in they might get shot, so we're going to bomb the whole building and be done with it. Sorry for the loses but we need to get those bad guys." That's what Israel is doing now, unsympathetically. They show just as little regard for civilians as Hamas.

Scapegoat??? Maybe look up that term means. He's the cause of much of the shit and continues to be. He spews hate and lies, so much that a large percentage of the population actually doubts the 2020 results.

And what if just a few more people had went along with him? What if Pence threw out the votes? What if Barr went along with his story that the election was stolen? What if the rioters had gotten to the Representatives on Jan 6th? Might that gallows have been used? How many more would have went along with the lie just to avoid being caught up in violence?

The world and the US have a lot of problems completely unrelated to Trump, but he made none of the problems better, many worse and created some of its worst unlike any other president in history.

There are so many answers to this but the most egregious of all is trying to overthrow the democratically elected government through any and all means. Shouldn't be hard to understand.
