I was thinking more like $30 AUD, or 130 DKK a bag in my case, which is pretty much just supermarket coffee. I used it as a reference because I feel like coffee has become too expensive lately. You're right though, that if I bought the good stuff from a real bean roaster it'd be more the prices you listed.
To some extent you're right. There'd be less content if nobody paid. But imagine current society without treats. I don't know if capitalism without "panem et circenses" would start to crumble real fast.
Ironically this made me donate to the lemmy instance my account is on. For the cost of just 3 bags of coffee a year I raised the monthly donations by 1%. Feels good man.
Apathetic voters not giving a shit shouldn't be a surprise. I think it would be more interesting to see if people already politically enough engaged to have picked a "team" were willing to switch sides based on the outcome of debates.
In rare cases white mold cheese will taste like blue mold cheese because of cross contamination, but that's about the only defect I've experienced buying cheese close to their expiration dates. Oh, and camembert cheeses being a bit too runny and ammonia tasting, but as a sicko I kind of like that.
Let me put it this way: They print expiration dates on SALT.
Now, it's pretty convenient that stores here in Denmark sell products cheaper just before they "expire" because certain products actually get better with time like cheese.
Safe to say I'm the second type hehe..
I unfortunately don't know of any other games on top of my head. I know Lego Island is close to 100% reverse engineered, but I'm not certain it'll get released as an open source game like Space Cadet.
It is odd, they have no problems talking about the internet despite that being a newer thing than gaming historically.
Maybe it's some dumb attempt at seeming more adult by trying to look like they don't know what computer games are.
Yeah, like @catloaf@lemm.ee said, Dynamic DNS ought to fix this issue. There are plenty of free ones. I currently use ClouDNS, but No-IP is also decent.
Hardest part is updating from a phone, but there's articles on both sites for how to do that.
I (15 year old account) got banned not too long ago for replying to a person using information publicly listed in their reddit profile. Rule 3, aka doxxing. Idk, seemed overkill to me, what else is the point of sharing anything in ones profile if mentioning it is bannable.
I didn't much like W1 and W2. Especially W2 feels like it's on rails. The story is pretty good though.
