I knew all of them, I have gotten too nerdy.

I just realized I don't know how I hold y mouse.

I was a bit worried that if might come across as that. But it's more about sharing a positive story I think.

I'm moving to Pathfinder 2e anyways after this campaign ends. I do still own another copy of the PHB which my daughter uses for her games. So I'll have to break the news to her that we have to share that one now. And one of my players agreed to lend me his monster manual for now.

That was the main reason I posted this. I thought I would enjoy seeing this on here.

If it has anything close to the impact dnd had on me it'd be amazing.

I came into dnd end of advanced 2e and really got into it with 3e. I was there when half my friend group left for wow and the other half didn't like 4e. I went to pf1 back then and to more other systems like shadow run, arkane Kodex, fading suns and the Dark Eye. I came back to dnd 5e late but before pf2e was announced. But I never truly dug 5e. It's a perfectly fine system but I'm not passionate about it. Only recently with the OGL betrayal I jumped ship and went to pf2e which I absolutely love.

It was fun to hear how Matt experienced this era. Changing editions and games isn't all that bad or hard as some people make it out to be. At least from my experience.

I also never understood edition warriors or even system warriors. Everyone should play what they like. Systems are different and some are better suited for certain groups or players than others. All I advocate for is people try a few different systems when they can. Often I find people to be surprised that they like other systems way better and that those rules can do things they never thought a TTRPG could do.

But there is a kingmaker module for the 2nd edition of the tabletop game now.

Gotta take them wins when you can.

Also why is it so often the people who appear most awesome on the surface who suffer from horrible shit like that. Your memes are top notch and I hope your days will be better soon.

There is a lot of truth in this one. I disabled any push notifications for a long time now. It distracts me too much.

Then what the meme says happened. That led me to reduced the apps I use drastically. I found I didn't need them in the first place.

For me it was life changing good advice. But it depends on the individual I guess.

For me it is

autumn = sick all the time or the kids are sick or the people you try to meet cancel because they got sick.

Winter = too cold, don't want to go outside

Spring and first half of summer = nice

Second half of summer = wasp season, can't enjoy anything outside due to fear of dying of wasp allergy

It says it's not easy. I fact it is so hard, they couldn't even do it.
