  • Congrats .world, here’s to many PieFed updates.

  • No, for all of us.

  • When have they ever done what the majority of you want?

  • YouTube added customisable speeds recently!

I find 1.4 to be enjoyable, but 2x if I need to get through something dense.

  • Or they could put subway surfers on the bottom half of the screen.

  • I work with babies under 1, even they can point to pictures to “ask” me to name them. Knowing others know stuff is basic.

Theory of Mind isnt something we use in my field, but from a quick glance it’s knowing other people have minds, that they have their own desires, feelings, thoughts, etc not that they know information.

In ECEC terms we would think of that as the end of their egocentric stage. Usually seen around 1-3.

Post-apocalypse Australia is the setting for hotly anticipated video game - Death Stranding 2

  • Glad I promoted a curiosity.

  • The Western Bulldogs have bribed/lobbied the local council to scrap the requirement that they must have a not-for-profit childcare centre.

This move will allow the Western Bulldogs to steal money from Australians via increased fees and the kickback they receive from a future for-profit provider.

AFL club says end of not-for-profit childcare status will lower fees

  • Except for the parents right to let their child be their own gender.

  • More art galleries need to stuff and display the artists corpse alongside their work.

  • What is “childcare”? Because I’m working on my hands and knees half the time or holding up to ~15kg for hours a day.

  • So if we’re not perfect let’s not go on witch hunts?

  • Aotearoa / New Zealand @lemmy.nz

New Community: Buy Oceanian (Bonus Question: What are some good independent news outlets from New Zealand?)

  • YES! I started making it after watching foodwishes cook it and it is the best Italian pasta dish I've ever had in my life. The pan cooking of the pasta gives it such a crispy texture.

  • I’ve picked up some words from colleagues, so I often say yalla yalla or acha.

Sometimes American words can be fun like “yo man wassup”.

  • I could have, and I still have the old Lemmy server around to do so if I wanted but it wasn’t deemed worth the effort. It was mostly world news, and who reads old news.

  • Maybe a 'mood cat', they were very popular back in the day.

  • Some people made reddit their identity and anything that threatens it scares them.
