Hey, I’ve seen a ton of comedies that all center “middle class people [who have moderately sized businesses and never struggled a day in their lives.]” http://smbc-comics.com/comic/frigid
Labels are silly. Call me a decolonial Marxist. I am generally pro-China, but am currently delving into other theory to form an all sided view. The point of the quotation is that CPUSA legalist nonsense is revisionist.
If someone gets offended seeing the word “revisionist” you know what they are. I don’t trust anyone who doesn’t criticize revisionists. “Revisionism” should not shut down conversation but lead to discussions surrounding what errors were made. Everyone should criticize both dogmatism and improper pragmatism. I know your party falls into much dogmatism itself. You use the same tired electoralist/legalist strategy that supports settler colonialism and accomplishes nothing. You dogmatically cite old CPUSA leaders and continue their failed strategies with minimal critical thought.
Revisionism is a great scourge on socialist history leading to failures from the US to Nepal. Dogmatism sucks too, but they often go hand in hand.
Science has no goal. It cannot determine policy. It can tell you how certain policies may affect certain metrics, but it matters who decides what metrics matter ie. do we care if people have food, or if line go up.
Technocracy is stupid, and just serves tech elites. Thankfully, there is a scientific political system out there called Scientific Socialism. It ruthlessly criticizes the world to find the best way to advance the interests of the great masses of people. It analyses the movement of history and society to make it develope smoothly. It studies its own struggle to make it be more effectively. However, it is not against democracy, but rather in favor of a truer democracy of the working class. Liberal democracy is simply the ruling class making up differences and fighting each other for show. In China they have a far better democracy without such fighting, and instead have tons of dialogue and study.
Locally I know like five brown mushrooms that look similar, but I think I know which one’s the psychedelic one and which is going to kill you. Maybe I’m naive, and I haven’t put it into action.
I’d call half a trillion in a year a lot. Nonetheless I agree so much more needs to be done especially in a collaborative way, but isolated China’s holding their weight especially compared to the United States and Europe.
The fact is, their power demands are rising, so they invest in and build coal power plants as much as no other country.
Of course, that's unfortunate. I'm critical of them and they could be doing better. However, have you considered why? It's western factories that go to China and produce our goods. The West's carbon footprint is effectively laundered through China. Also, speak for yourself. Genocide Joe over here keeps approving oil pipelines. Yet you set your malaise on China. They and the EU also keep increasing their military budgets sharply, and the US MIC has long been the greatest contributor) to the climate crisis.
I’m pretty sure it’s just for publicity
I love that your source here is nothing more than intuition.
So please remove this china-greenwashing post,
Lol, you've given me no reason to. While the West fails to meet it's pitiful Paris Climate Accords goals, China has more ambitious goals and is already far ahead of them.
It’s just a horrible place
Again, no evidence, absurd reasoning. If China's such a bad place why have they eliminated poverty and why are chinese living longer, healthier, and happier than USians? Why are at least 95% of Chinese happy with their government?
That's the most pathetic lib gotcha I've seen in a while. The one child policy made sense at the time considering the low development they started with and the time it takes to build up and support a bigger population, but you know there were exemptions for minorities and it's not a thing anymore. Second thing, idk what you're talking about, but yes bad corporations do business in China. That doesn't take away from the fact that the PRC is doing way more for the climate than the rest of us.
“Please China! Abandon your socialist path and move back to being our imperial subjects. It’s for your own good bc socialism leads to outcomes we don’t think you should like.”
Totally agree, ChunkaLuta’s doing stuff like that, but not in cities yet afaik.
Not only would it be an incredible propaganda win to go, Hey, look, the Communist Party is supplying schoolteachers with the supplies to teach your kids.
Sadly that would probably be another justification for defunding schools and going on witch-hunts.
