  • Took me forever to internalize the title and realize this indeed has nothing to do with Bioware.

  • Check out the rest of Posy's channel. Some really good stuff from this guy

  • Yakuza 2 on Steam Deck, after completing (not 100%) Y0 and Y1. Planning to keep playing them in order, until Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth comes out.

I'm new to the series, and loving it. Can't wait to get back home (traveling now) and move from Deck to my PC, high resolution and maxed quality.

  • It's not really funny though. Some group got their lulz, but that came at the cost of some actually deserving game not getting extra exposure it probably needed. It's not a victimless crime.

  • It's a classic Boaty McBoatface situation. I fully expect at least one hentai game to win next year. 2024 being the US election year, trolls will have 12 months to practice.

  • None of the Reddit interfaces were ever any good IMHO. The service was only usable thanks to third party readers that redefined its user experience. Without them it's about as pleasant as gopher.

  • Yup. Both the desktop website and the official app are garbage UX. With no third party app option, I could not use Reddit even if I wanted to.

  • I use Epic launcher for all my Unreal work, so I have it installed and open it daily. Still, I can't be bothered to turn on the games store and redeem free games - while willingly paying for new ones on Steam. The UX is just that bad.

(I assume some people may find value in it, all I'm saying is: it is not for me)

  • "Building Stories" by Chris Ware. Not a book, but a deconstructed graphic novel that comes in a box full of different formats and sizes - from a newspaper to a tiny bubblegum sized strip. You read them in any order you please, learning stories of people who live in the same building, while also building your own path through the stories.

It's one of my most prized pieces of literature.

  • Wow, thanks! I guess there's always a chance to learn something new!

  • Doesn't the bubbly reaction do anything? It sure looks impressive.

  • Whenever I'm in doubt about cleaning, I try sprinkling a good amount of baking soda and then pouring copious amounts of vinegar, then letting it do its thing. It's an inexpensive experiment to try and could solve your problem.

  • Knowing when to quit a battle is a virtue, not a failure.

  • Yea, I typically also don't care much for their live performances, the orchestra and "funny commercial interruptions" not to mention endless Game Pass ads.

  • Nothing will make me watch this thing live. The ability to fast forward is essential for this show and I do so through 80% of the duration.

  • Naturally. Rockstar likes to resell their titles no less than Bethesda. They will sell it to you on PS5 and series x/s, then again on PS6 and whatever Xbox will be around. Then probably Nintendo platform, finally PC.

This way they maximize the amount of times some people will buy the same game, each time with minimal quality upgrade.

Same as their previous titles. It's not that they didn't learn. They have the numbers and know very well what they're doing.

  • Looks like an absolute celebration of all the worst things America is known for. Pass, thanks.

  • The two GTAs I actually lived and finished are from before Rockstar era: GTA and GTA2 - the 2D ones. I played all the big open world Rockstar titles (except for Bully) and I think I'm just not the right audience for what they are making.
