Diets are highly species specific, but mosquitos are generally less than 3% of the diet for most birds and bats. Too small, don't fly around at the correct time of day/night, and pretty agile, so they aren't supper important for most birds and bats.
Also, usually they hatch in the billions all at once and die within a few weeks so there's a very limited amount of time that they even can be preyed on as food. Their strategy (many of them, not all species) is to overwhelm any predators with numbers.
I don't know, to me a * b * c is basically just the exact same as a • b • c but just easier to type on a computer. If you were writing it down on paper or a black board they would probably use dots. Coding often uses * because who wants to type in those dots would be a pain in the ass and the * basically looks the closest to a dot.
I don't think there's enough information to blame them but there's also not enough to absolve them completely like that. If they were working you would think they would see how bad the weather and flooding was on their way to work or something and think, hey, maybe Johnny shouldn't be walking in this?
I'm no millionaire but I definitely sold my stocks shortly after Trump was elected so I'm at least not too worried as I might be able to get them back for pennies. For once a market crash might actually benefit me. If only house prices came down as well, then I might actually be able to afford one.
I don't understand the argument for attacks in restrooms. How often does that happen in America?
And how is it that separate washrooms are supposed to prevent it? If a man is going to attack a woman ina restroom, is a sign saying they aren't allowed in really going to stop them if no one else is around?
Yeah honestly I don't see a problem with this. If it's his own words why does it matter if it's AI speaking or himself? Even if it's not his own words, he could just as easily say the same shit on camera, why does the person in the video needs to be him?
That's pretty silly if the contractor doesn't need to have some sort of certification. Anyone can go build a house without knowing what they are doing and then 10 years down the line no one knows who built it when things start to fall apart, or who to blame, and the contractor probably keeps building things wrong the entire time.
Is there any sort of professional requirement to build homes? Like architects needmto be registered and meet minimum standards to design things. Are there registration/requirements for a contactor to oversee the construction of a residential home?
$470 million does seem like a lot for 1700 units of housing though, especially when it's all prefab trailer type modular stuff.
Even if every person got three units for their own use that's like $90,000 per modular piece. I don't know maybe that's normal, I'm not too well versed in the cost of these things.
Also it does seem like a waste, there's lots of work projects that occur up north I'm sure some other company would buy and transport some of the components for their own work camps if it were sold at a discount.
There are many species which bite humans, but you are right that it's only the females which bite.
There are only a few species which don't bite at all and are fully just straight up pollinators, but most species do bite something. Some are specialized and mostly feed on birds while others mostly feed on amphibians and reptiles, but most will bite pretty much anything that breathes. There are even some species which specialize in biting fish.
You still try to kill them, but at least the ones you miss will end up dying anyways. If enough people do it, maybe mosquitos will evolve to avoid humans entirely lol
