Mmmm... How about something else that doesn't allow Americans to vote? Because 11th province would just mean Canada becomes America under a different name.

I can see why patents are so long when you need to build like a billion dollar factory to make a product and mass produce it.

Digital concepts don't take that much investment and once you have it you don't need to invest in making more, it's just there.

So yes, digital patents should be a fraction of the time that physical patents should be. Like 2 years instead of 20.

How is it that pokemon has a hold on things like animals allowing flight, but gliders allowing flight isn't under patent?

Where I live they are required to rehabilitate the land afterwards, but usually that's after the mine has been running for like 30+ years and by the time they shut down, they do some weird financial trickery and declare bankruptcy despite having made millions in profits the previous decades and then they just walk away and tax payers need to clean up.

If I just voted for someone and then they quit to allow someone else to run and I needed to go vote AGAIN just for some power play I would be fucking pissed. Hopefully these voters are as well.

You still need a rule, but just don't be lazy and have a blanket rule. Instead of always have a hard hat, just say hard hats required if there are any objects on site withing 30 feet that are above 6' or something.

If a business doesn't buy hard hats because it only applies some of the time, then fine then when people aren't wearing hard hats when there are objects within 30 feet of working that's are higher than 6'.

My business works In one area for 30 minutes every 2 weeks that requires a hard hat. The rest of the time it isn't required. We still provide the hard hats. But expecting employees to wear them everywhere else is ridiculous.

I'm all for safety regulations and laws, but I also understand why people are frustrated with them.

People writing the laws or corporate policies are incredibly lazy and just copy paste a bunch of stuff to where it's not really required imo.

Like workcrews must always have a hardhat on. Then there are landscapers working in a garden pulling weeds even if there are no trees for miles. What's going to happen? A tornado throws a rake at your head?

Usually low turnout benefits the Republicans. This is potentially every Democrat coming out to vote against Trump while Republicans stayed home because they don't like Trump anymore but can't bring themselves to vote for a Democrat.

How long before people start pretending to be ICE to basically break and enter into homes to rob people? Not like they can fight back, or even question things, or have due process, if someone in an ICE vest shows up at your door.

I can imagine myself on that ledge and being the one person where after thousands of years of being perfectly fine, the ledge finally decided to give way and separate from the cliff.
