  • Nope, I've still got every phone I've ever had except for one that I gave away to someone who lost theirs.

  • I always did find it silly that it wasn't at least the same as parks where lower speed is required dawn till dusk.

Like, even on the weekends and after school, schools have parks and playgrounds where the children go to play. They don't just appear at 730am and disappear at 5. These signs just add a later of confusion. Like, if it's a pro-d day is it technically a school day? Do the parent who know school is out get to drive faster than those who don't have children and dont know it's not a school day?

Or should the signs read weekdays instead?

    It's kind of silly.

  • Media outlets revealed ...

    Reuters reported ...

Does the guardian do any of their own reporting or do they just repeat what other outlets have already printed so they can spread rumours and gossip without fear of being accused of making stuff up?

Not that this isn't true, but it just seems silly that they are just repeating what others have already said.

  • So, like 5 comments saying it's a good movie, and not a single comments, nor the title of the post, or the post itself, mention the name of the movie.

    Wtf am I looking at?

  • Yellow card for faking an injury in soocer

  • I'm sure the US would love it if other countries deported their immigrants to the US

  • With... Magazines? Shudder

  • Landscaper absolutely is relevant if it makes up the majority of his resume.

If you spent 5 years working and 3 of that was a landscaper, it is relevant to your current position.

If you spent 30 years working and 3 of that was landscaper, much less relevant.

  • Irreligious agnostic as well.

I think I would have difficulty depending on how devoted they are. Like would I need to pretend to pray beside them at every meal? Or do they just keep most of that to themselves?

Also, I do find the little rituals and habits that religious people go through a bit silly so I feel like I would not be able to just silently sit by and watch it for years and years.

  • The forgot the encyclopedia set and a couple thousand books and a few hundred video tapes.

  • What are the ostriches for? Are they on a farm and sold as meat? If it's a health issue sure let the ostriches live but ban the meat from being sold. Separate them from those that will be sold for meat.

Otherwise what would happen if a zoo had some rare bird catch avian flu? Would they be forced to kill all of the other rare birds in the zoo?

  • Probably because the Democrats want it done but also want to blame the "fallout" on the Republicans for the next hundred years.

  • Isn't the current requirement 2%? They want to more than double their budget?

  • They don't invest, they take tax payer funded subsidies and then bill us for the pleasure.

  • Unless it's for packages does anyone really need junk-mail delivery every day?

Most stuff has like a month for paying off statements and whatnot.

  • Also with starlink even one company's constellation is causing issues with astronomers and launches.

How bad will it be if there are 5-6 different companies with their own network floating around up there. And then other countries with their own network.

  • I had lower back pain for a while about 12 years ago when I was youngish.

Ignored it for like a week because I thought I just slept weird.

Then one day I asked someone to take me to the walk-in since it was getting worse.

It was a Sunday so they were all closed, but by that time I was starting to shake. Asked to go to the ER.

Once in the ER I'm sweating, shivering and shaking. Doctor takes one look at me and bumps me to the front of the line. Takes me in and immediately says I look like I'm going through septic shock. Puts me on IV antibiotics and morphine for the pain which was incredible at that point.

Apparently I had a UTI which led to a bladder infection and eventually worked its way up to my kidneys and then poisoned my blood. Another week of 1hr per day IV antibiotics pumping through me and I was okay.

If it weren't Sunday I possibly could have died.

So yeah, probably go see a doctor.

  • I don't want to know how much testing they needed to do for that

  • It's not unmarried specifically, just marital status.

Probably a way from Republicans to allow them to not treat gay Vets if they aren't married to their partner or something.

  • Greenland probably has a shit ton of minerals that could be mined, but it takes investment and capital and labour to extract it where greenland is just fine with fishing. It's population is pretty small.
