  • And it will not let you vote unless there's an R next to the ballot selection, otherwise it tells your brain to drop the pen

  • Yeah I can't imagine choosing to game on a device that has no physical controls and just touchscreen which is what I imagine this device would have to be if it's foldable.

It will probably also be over $1000 if it's a foldable touchscreen and have shitty hardware so may as well get a steam deck if you're intent is gaming.

If I want to game on a touchscreen I'll do it on my phone because it's convenient. I'm not carrying a second device around for touchscreen gaming.

  • Yes, if you invest in a company you initially lose money while the company gains money.

You invest so that eventually you get money back, which means the company pays you back and therefore loses money.

The money the company pays you with is money that the company gained by other people's such as clients and customers giving them money for their service, and therefore they lose their money which eventually ends up in your pocket as your investment starts to earn you money.

In the end the company and the investor earn money if the company is successful but ultimately the the money comes from the customers who are losing that money.

  • I mean, that's capitalism in a nutshell no? Unless you're a government mint, No one can make money unless someone else loses money.

  • Why did Biden not make all these "rule of thumbs" into law at some point? Does that need to be done by house/senate which would have been killed by Republicans?

  • Yes milawd, I'll scoop my peasants pottage and like it. Put those tariffs up higher milawd.

  • Avocado toast in my area is cheaper and healthier than a bowl of cereal with milk.

    At least before tariffs hit.

  • Can USBC be used for audio if headphones start using a USBC plug?

  • It looks like ops fence is the 3-4' tall fence you can see at the bottom of the pic?

Neighbours probably installed his fence so it looks good to him, since it's not seen by anyone else but the OP

If it were facing a street you pm would probably install it the other way

  • Everyone blames the immigrant for their troubles, not the industries that hire immigrants for cheap despite it being illegal. Capitalism and racism are the backbone of America.

  • Why the hell is swearing an oath to Canada not an option?

  • Yeah, maybe just a backlog of 7 years would be the most I would say is fair if not nothing.

  • Yeah, I would imagine they need to inform whatever potential owner that there is a century of back taxes and then give them the choice to refuse and give up the property or choose to pay it.

  • America would rather invade Canada for water than tell private corporations they need to be regulated more.

  • Would the city not need to make sure that William Jones had to heirs to inherit the property before taking ownership, cleaning it, and then auctioning it off?

  • Even if somehow they find the officer didn't act appropriately he will get a slap on the wrist and maybe fired from that department, but the next county over will hire him.

  • It's the same situation with North Korea. Either let people starve and hope something will change, or encourage bad leadership by saving their citizens from their bad decisions.

  • Why not build it in a remote location then?

Dams can also produce a lot of hydroelectric power, and a catastrophic failure could also destroy an entire town or more. We just don't build dams upstream of a large town.
