I would never want my province to join America, but I wouldn't mind if we separated from Canada and join a couple of nearby states who left America to make something new. Both America and Canada kind of suck.

Somehow people think their taxes will go up over $1000k a month if it changes to universal.

I live in Canada and I pay less taxes total than what most Americans pay for healthcare alone, yet somehow they think we pay more than them lol.

I almost want to believe this guy saw how similar he was to the photos and how famous the shooter was getting and decided to take the fall by wandering around in public with some incriminating circumstantial evidence until someone reported him so he could take the credit.

I mean, I don't have a problem with people advocating violence against evil people.

But being happy or laughing does seem pretty tactless and frankly gross.

Death and violence may be necessary in many instances but it should never be glorified or celebrated, simply accepted.

Maybe if I had the choice of where and when to be born. Much too risky to leave it up to chance though

I would find it very satisfying if the amount of monopoly money was equivalent to something like the CEOs bonus pay or salary from the company.

Why does an apology matter if you know they don't actually mean it, nothing will ultimately change, they would do it again if they knew they wouldn't get caught, and the only reason they apologize is for publicity?

I guarantee you the companies will start freaking out once their largest shareholders start to be picked off and everyone else sells their shares.

Not sure how he plans on deporting people who were born in the United States and have no citizenship anywhere else since not every country automatically gives it to people's children born abroad.

They would effectively have no home country to deport them too.

Yes, I omitted that I didn't think all production should be illegal but it should require standards and permits at least. No one should be producing them in a home made lab for example if they intend to sell it to others and all sales should be through pharmacies and legitimate businesses.

I prefer the content, but reddit as a service is absolute garbage. I still check in on it every once in a while because there's a question or something I see the answer to after googling it and I can't stand browsing there for more than a minute or two.

The sponsored content and ads are just everywhere and disguised like user accounts making a post or comment and it's infuriating. You can't even use reddit on your phone unless you download their app, browsing the web version is practically impossible because "they can't confirm you are over 18 for some of the content" as if they can confirm your age through the app and they don't care if you are on desktop.

Reddit is a garbage company when it comes to their users, they quickly became one of my top most despised companies up there with nestle

I think the usage of all drugs should be legal, but I don't think the sale or the production of all drugs should be legal.

Stop arresting people who are addicted to the stuff and just arrest the people who are spreading it around.

And no arresting people for "intent to sell" just because they have a lot. Do some actual detective work and catch them actually selling it.

For me as well at least a little bit. I feel like there should be another option. Doesn't really sit well with me that a handful of random people can let someone walk free even if they clearly broke the law. It's unlikely to happen successfully but what if they are all threatened or bribed?

I assume they meant full masked during the shooting, but if there are enough cameras you can follow where someone originated from before they put their mask on and grab a image of their face from maybe a dozen streets away half an hour before the shooting.

I see all these pictures where the steam seemingly just escapes into the atmosphere.

Are there any designs where the cooling steam condenses and then pools and falls back down as liquid to turn even more turbines via gravity like hydroelectrics dams and then returns to the source pool to be reheated by the nuclear materials?
