  • Yeah pornhub seems pretty legitimate and safe these days.

All these bans do is force people to go to sketchier websites which don't have as thorough vetting process for their videos and likely have a lot more illegal / harmful content.

  • As an early bird I love it. Get everything done before heading out to work.

  • Same, ive got a charging stand for my bedside table and a portable power bank. Both work just fine and look/feel good. No issues after almost a year now.

  • Pretty sure every passenger plane incident has made international news for the past decade or more, basically since the Internet became mainstream with smartphones at a minimum.

The past two years definitely stand out as particularly bad to me though.

  • My main go to is city builders and I couldn't get past like 20 hours in manor lords before giving up. I just couldn't get into it.

  • I mean, when you have a few thousand two-bit internet media sites surviving off advertisement spam and hiring any freelance writer that can put together three paragraphs for $5 that's what our media becomes.

  • I just hope they don't think Harris lost because she didn't have enough time and then run her again in 2028, either without a primary or with a heavily one-sided primary like in 2016.

  • My top 9 games sorted by playtime, with almost 1000hrs for Valheim and about 300 for dwarf fortress.

  • Commentor before me said he was running away on foot when they shot him. After rereading the article it doesn't state whether he was on foot or still driving.

  • Since when did evading arrest come with the punishment of death row?

  • Deer imprint pretty hard when they are young. If it was raised from a fawn it would pretty much think it's human.

That's why it's difficult to rehabilitate orphaned deer fawns, because if you don't do it right they will very likely end up becoming a danger to people by expecting food from strangers and wandering urban environments, causing road hazards and potentially assaulting people who don't feed them or try to block them from food. Many wildlife rehab centers refuse to take in orphan fawns because the success rate is so low and it takes a lot of resources to do it properly.

It's also illegal almost everywhere to raise a wild deer fawn as a pet. They may become fairly tame but they are not domesticated and can easily become dangerous. If this deer got spooked it could easily kill that dog with one stomp of the hoof.

  • No one is working class as long as they can live the rest of their life in relative luxury/comfort with zero sources of income. If they choose to continue to work, it's because it's their choice to enrich themselves further, not because they will lose their home or need to start living off rice and beans.

Even retirees who live off a few thousand a month from their pensions, retirement funds, and investment returns are no longer working class in my opinion.

  • I travel domestically a fair bit for work and I always try to look suspicious to get randomly chosen for an extra check because I get to skip the majority of the line up.

So far I'm at like 1 random check out of every 3 times I travel. Saves like 30 minutes of standing in a hot line up with no air circulation.

  • I mean, haven't they always had rockets fired at them? Why would there be an increase in emigration then? Are there more rockets than before?

  • This is why I don't share my steam tag with anyone.

I hate people being able to analyze my habits.

  • I'm just not hypocritical.

If someone I voted for made it into office I wouldn't be pissed at them if the economy was still shit 6 months later.

The one year mark was arbitrary, there's no set timeframe of course. 6 months is in my personal opinion, which could be wrong, pretty fast for any rate of large-scale change to happen country-wide for anything but the outbreak of war to have an impact.

It's the same reason Republicans think they're system of economics works when the economy is okay going into the presidency of trump but shit going into a new democratic office which needs to pick up the pieces afterwards.

I wouldn't blame Biden for what the economy looked like 6 months after Trump left. But I also would not* blame/attribute the state of the economy 6 months into Trump's term.

  • It's selfish if they refuse to open up the seat if you ask.

Otherwise it's just using free and open space for convenience until it's needed.

  • Or, y'know, ask politely

  • It also makes light of actual terrorists. Perhaps they aren't all bad after all.

  • While I agree, there is a line where the addition of more safety features just adds up little by little over the years and makes houses unnaffordable.

And at some point people dying on the streets from being homeless will surpass how many lives are being saved by said safety features.

Now, if we have reached that point yet I cannot say but the line is there and it will be crossed at some point if we haven't yet.
