  • It's deeper and more dangerous than that.

The childless cat ladies are now the 'others', outsiders to the in group and free to be attacked.

To the right wing if you are a woman who isn't 'breedable' then you're in league with the enemy.

That means disabled, gay, asexual, mentally unbalanced, liberal, and thoroughly un-American.

    You know... fascism.

  • But it goes further than that and forces liquidation of such investments.

So you can't be swayed by your own financial interests, but it also limits greatly your ability to invest in your own future.

Edit: I'm not making an argument, I'm looking at what the proposal would do to see why some think it goes too far.

  • Well you'd have to ask Vance, since at one point he thought he was gay, by his own admission.

But I don't like going down that road. I don't want to shame him for his potential sexuality. Just for his actual policies.

  • In latest Trump news, a bigly massive order has been placed for square stickers reading 'VA'.

Is Trump making a push to take Virginia?

Or is he promising to eliminate the Veterans Administration?

More as this story unfolds here at Newsmax!

  • Hollywood was previously disillusioned with Biden and thought he would have problems winning.

Since Biden has stepped aside so Kamala could run, there is more excitement.

And Hollywood, of course, is filled with rich and famous movie stars. So they have money to donate and fans they can encourage to vote.

  • So my wife is actually a vet tech and pulled this on her colleagues a year or so ago, with a bag of "fecal samples" she'd occasionally snack from.

Good prank. Not very good for sales though, best kept for coworkers.

  • If a court no longer takes the concerns of the citizens seriously, how can they still expect the citizens to take its rulings and actions seriously?

If they do not stop, they are openly acknowledging they intend to murder this man, and others, so that nobody ever has the capacity to look back and see what they've already done.

    Burn it all down.

  • I fully agree. Israel was impossible to navigate as an issue because Biden needed to show the rest of the world that the US still sticks by its allies... but those of us who knew Netanyahu knew this would get ugly fast.

And the crime bill - why the hell were REPUBLICANS attacking him for it? They loved it back then. It was a big mainstream 'success' back then.

So disgusting and insulting to attack him for something they love hoping to turn other voters away.

I only pointed out those examples because others cared about them. I've been around long enough to know what the anti-crime culture was like in the 80s. You remember the 80s, where crime-ridden NYC was a genre all its own?

  • I think there was a good chunk that didn't like some of his record. (Israel/Palestine, the old crime bill that was hung around his neck despite being broadly supported) But Kamala doesn't have to run on that record, though she can still call on it as having been Biden's VP.
