  • It's so much easier to take seriously a professional woman who has chosen to not have her own children be stumping for this issue.

I always believed reproductive rights (and by extension the Supreme Court) would lead a blue wave and I'm glad to see evidence that it's true.

Yes, many women are pro-life, but they are already fanatical voters. It's time for the rest of the country to wake up and realize the danger is real.

And I think the nation is getting PRETTY FUCKING WOKE.

  • Hell yeah. My family is weird and fun.

I play in a weekly D&D game with my dad, aunt, uncle, and cousin's husband. We all have weird craft habits.

Then I married into a massive family of very decent people. My brother in law adopted three sons before having two of his own. Several of the extended family teach or taught in public schools.

Then there's my extended family of cool people, friends I've curated over decades, most of whom have met my actual biological family.

Takes a lot before I give up on family!

  • Yeah, it can't be done now. It needs the support of the people to change Congress to allow it to happen.

And now a proposal has been made that can be negotiated and shaped into a solution - should we get the chance to implement one.

  • I fully acknowledge I'm being optimistic about the blue wave, but I also believe and hope that the momentum is just starting to build and will reflect down ballot.

And yes, I will be voting and be sure to get everyone I know to vote as well.

  • She will be.

I'm increasingly confident about a blue wave this election. First multiracial female president in a time when bodily autonomy is under attack.

And that's all without taking into account who and what she is running against.
