People always act like "how can company A be a thing when it isn't profitable". It isn't about if company A is profitable. It's about whether CEO A is making money. As long as that can happen and, you know, others at the top, company A is right on track.

What really grinds my gears, is for every shitty "feature" like this, for every denial of policy or piece of spyware... someone thought it up.

I wonder does anyone ever, in the meeting where this is decided, bring up what a horrible idea it is? I'm sure that person won't have the best career, but has anyone ever seen someone take the bullet?

That's kind of my point. People who voted for him seem to think he'll save them from the long string of rich, old, white people who have been doing all the harm when he's really just the same, turned up to 11.

Like that will work. He thinks he did a great job with the pandemic. Stop testing and your numbers go down. It's easy.

We already have buildings all over the place. I like the idea of installing them there. Parking lots would be awesome too since it's otherwise wasted space, but this way cars and people are protected from the sun and rain. Win/win.

I researched Voyager not too long ago and what I hadn't realized until I did was how much it was all about Kess and then after that all about 7 of 9.

I think there's something charming about like Rez graphics in games. I don't personally need photorealism.
