  • Well indeed I do. Usually the technology or maybe 196 are the main culprits with these negative posts.

  • Idk if it's just me, but my Lemmy feed are mostly incredibly depressing most of the time.

  • I don't have any experience with win 11, but all I can tell you is that my dual booted win 10 iot ltsc 2021 edition just werks for me, same as any other windows, although I only use it for some VR games currently or some software that doesn't support Linux.

  • Ah yeah that's true. I'm not really knowledgable in AI training but can't you use the deepseek r1 model as a base training model and overwrite it with more international data (like adding some tianmen square knowledge to it and producing actual facts)

  • Also you can run it locally which eliminates all concerns.

  • More people need to be frugal just as you. Huge respect for you man.

  • Amazing. /s

The ban list seems a little bit incosistent, but is really obvious on where the bias goes. Not that Instagram were good ever.

  • Wouldn't that be too harsh? They could get a notice, like can you switch to english because of rules?

  • "Instagram blocked searches related to a number of political hashtags, including #democrats, #democrat, #jan6th, #republicans and a number of other terms Tuesday."

    It's not just democrat

  • Hmm it seems you're not a dad/mom yet as well. When are you planning to have kids?

  • No, I haven't achieved my dreams yet (only 24) and yeah I want kids. I always dream about playing some epic games with my kids or teaching them generally.

  • Doesn't seem like a tech article to me

  • Well ALVR has a plethora of settings to optimize, but even by following the wiki settings, like changing from UDP to TCP and such, my quality was still lower + now I can't even make ALVR run. Maybe I've missed some crucial setting, who knows.

  • Pog teacher

  • Jesus, your story gave me the chills. Crisis have been avoided luckily.

  • Have you had data loss occurences in these bay enclosures? Some other commenters have said, that using it as a primary storage is really risky because some crappy controllers could ruin the drives's data for example.

  • Yeah a DIY NAS PC sounds like a fun choice, it's just too bad that this mini PC was a waste of cash if talking about storage. I do have an old PC, but it's a 3770K which is mighty beast for sure, but definitely a more power hungry device.

  • And what's your experience with it? Is the data transfer speed fast enough for you? Where do you do backups?
